Many restaurants and bars near stadiums here have permanently closed. Without the soccer, baseball, events and convention crowds to drive sales for an extended time, they were done.
 
If one were to make spicy bacon, would one just dump a bunch of cayenne pepper on it before baking or should there be some nuance?

I brushed it with maple syrup, but I think brown sugar will be better once caramelized. I got this seasoning salt called George Srirachington, (they're named after presidents) but it's not spicy enough. I want it to sting a little.

yup, after you mop em, just sprinkle some cayenne on there.
 
You aren't seriously thinking about having bacon for dinner. Or are you?
I have a few slices left in a package that I have to use before it goes bad.
