It needs to be three lanes. The problem is all of the trucks and the assholes who want to go 1 mph faster than the trucks so it takes forever to pass.

I fucking hate going to Nashville because of all the semis between there and Chattanooga. I-24 is mostly 2 lanes. It sucks. Coming back home is the worst.
 
I knew these fuckers were going to find a way to screw me over. Just had an announcement that they are increasing the compensation budget and all employees will be at a minimum 95% compa-ratio. My last pay letter says I'm at 102% but I think that's a lie. I need to benchmark with FAANG and see where they're at- word on the streets is that I'm underpaid.

Also- is FAANG now going to be MAANG? :laugh:

I have long been of the mind whatever natural fuckery one grows up with, whether earthquake, tornado, or hurricane, is the one each person is most "comfortable" with.

I'd take a tornado any day and twice on Sunday over an earthquake.

The only warning there really ever is of an earthquake is if you have a pet, notice them being inexplicably weird, decide it's 'cause there's gonna be an earthquake, and happen to be right. At least with tornadoes, you get enough warning to get to some kind of safety.

You may be right. I never cared shit one about earthquakes unless one was actively occurring and even then, they’re over so fast you know right away when you’re fucked or not. Tornadoes freak me right the fuck out.

Earthquakes while unnerving have killed less people in Cali (after 1906) overall than one good sized hurricane or tornado. I can live with earthquakes.
