Hello, smelly fartboxes! Everyone recovered from the holiday weekend? Everyone ready to do it again but with more presents in a few weeks?!

Also- how the hell is it 2pm PT? I feel like I’ve done fuck all today but I’ve been busy all morning.

oh! I’m happy to report that the fishing trip was a relative success and something I will definitely be doing more often. I didn’t catch my limit, but I did catch 5 different rockfish (plus I lost 1 before I could reel it all the way in and tossed one back that was just a lil’ feller) and the first two within 15 minutes of dropping my line. I got tangled with other anglers (there were only 10 of us on what looked to be about a 30-40 person boat) a few times because for whatever reason, the lines tended to drift right under the boat. That was pretty annoying- got kind of excited the first time because I thought I snagged a biggun! Womp, womp, womp. And I didn’t freeze alllll my bits off, but pretty much dressed like an Eskimo in order to prevent it.

I’m deadass tired today though. Could definitely use a nap right about now. But had some awesome fish tacos for dinner last night!
