done and done. UCLA cleared by regents to move to the Big Ten.
some stipulations in place including UCLA paying money to Cal
as one tweet put it "Calimony"

so now we wait to see the finalized media deal and if the Pac will look to expand or go back to the Pac 10.

Bo Nix is coming back in 2023

So Pac is going to have
the Heisman winner (Williams)
the Nations leader in passing yards (Penix)
National 3 and 4 Qbs in completion % (Nix and Bourguet)
and likely Sanders who was 4th in yards and 4th in completion % in the FCS

Tuli tuipulotu Bednarik finalist led country in total sacks

Calen Bullock 172 INT return yards 2nd nationally by 2 yards.
Laiatu Latu only 3 sacks behind Tuipulotu
trevor woods 2nd nationally in solo tackles

Going into 2022, it was assumed that Nix was only going to play one season at Oregon.

He's smart to play another season. He likely raised his draft stock this season and another good season could raise it more. Same can be said for Penix.

PAC 12 things to watch on signing day:

Oregon looking to flip Novosad, Austin (although I don't think Austin will sign tomorrow) and Limar. Fong also said they are the favorites to land Matayo. If all that goes down, it will be a great day for Oregon considering the gut punch of Moore decommitting.

Colorado looking to land Hopkins and flip Purchase from Oregon.

Washington looks like they're going to flip Presley from Oregon.

USC hit on Singer, a big boost from the portal.

UCLA obviously got the big flip with Moore and they've been very active in the portal as well. I think Matavao is going to do well for the Bruins.

As of this morning this is where the PAC 12 teams stand in recruiting:

1. USC (13th nationally)
2. Oregon (15th nationally)
3. Utah (21st nationally)
4. Washington (29th nationally)
5. UCLA (34th nationally)
6. Arizona (45th nationally)
7. Oregon State (47th nationally)
8. Stanford (49th nationally)
9. Washington State (58th nationally)
10. Colorado (59th nationally)
11. California (83rd nationally)
12. Arizona State (88th nationally)

Oregon has had the top recruiting class for the last 4 cycles. This looks like it's going to come down to USC and Oregon and will probably be very close. It's also noteworthy that some targets probably won't sign tomorrow and we'll have to check back in for the 2nd signing day.

Oregon did flip him and did sign him

Novosad is a good last minute effort get for Oregon. He's not Moore but he's still a pretty decent prospect.
moore rated top 5 Novosad top 10. litterally #10 rated QB.
his 247 rating is higher than Oregon recent QBs Mariota, Herbert, Shough, Bennett, Brown, Butterfield, and Ashford.
so yeah not mad about it.

That’s a great get but I was referring to Daylen Austin not signing today. It’s possible but my guess is he pushes it back. Oregon is trending well there too

Penix is taking a risk though. It might help his NFL stock to have two full years largely injury free, but if he does get injured again he for sure lost money on staying. I'm not sure that's a risk I would have advised him to take.

Dan Lanning is building a monster in Eugene. Holy shit!
Heck of a job done by Lanning. Didn't think he would pull it off with being the 5th best team in the PAC. I wonder what kind of money is being thrown around to bring them to Eugene.
