tOfficial “Weed Growers” Thread

It has been 3 nights of pitch black, 4th tonight and I just finished putting her in the shop for the night.

It's a standard 2 wheel tilt and push cart I lash her to.

When I tip it back to move it, the plant brushes against my forearms and shirt.

Only 3 nights and the smell has changed completely. My arms were smelling funky. My wife bitched about my shirt stinking.

Perfect.

72 hours of black or?

Nights are half of a full day right? Self explanatory.
So 12x3 didn't know if you went crazy and did 16 hours of dark.... plus you're in Canada I don't know how long your day is pffffffffffffffffffft

24 hours just like in the Excited States.

I thought I saw someone say that when sunlight hours dip below 12 hours of sunlight, that's the magical point.

So September 26th for me.

yea, but curious if the guy with his pitch black is doing extra or what the magic sauce for his plant is :D

So, when do we stop hitting it with 'N' and start hitting it with 'P' fertilizers.

At the 12 hours of sunlight threshold ??

Q: When it starts to flower, how about removing some of the larger leaves on the plant, in order to direct energy to the flower ???

And

Q: If I have a street light in my back yard that gives off 'some' light all night, does that screw up the 'total darkness' thing ???

Thanks in advance.

No.

Yes.

Your water leaves are needed for photosynthesis.

Think of it like developing photos by hand. You can peek with a red light, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

So, the difference between growing from seed or a clone, the seed will develop a tap root, and the clone will not.
Have read that the plant grown with a tap root will generally be larger. This is being grown in the ground outdoors.

Seems like a tap root would have some advantages?
Am I overthinking it ?

Does this present any special challenges ??
