Wait.
Satin is fake silk.
What the fuck is fake satin???

At the risk of seeming overly particular, that isn't "The Nutcracker Theme."
It is from the Nutcracker, yes, but it is the Waltz of the Flowers.

Im gonna be truthful and honest..

I've never seen the nutcracker...so I wasn't sure.

Dude was gonna save the day all by his self... Can't stop laughing

Waltz of the Flowers is definitely one of the more well-known pieces of music from the Nutcracker.
I'd say the top 3 are probably that one, what's known as "Russian" or "Candy Cane" (some part are called different things in different versions) and the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Just to keep from flipping out Dole, I won't post those, but they're easy enough to find, if you have any interest.

I think I've said this, but the only music from the Nutcracker that doesn't make me want to punch someone is the Grand Pas and the music from Arabian/Coffee <--- one of the others that's called something different depending on the version.

And that ends today's lesson in "Everything You Never Wanted to Know about the Music from The Nutcracker."

That's cool.
It seems kind of random, but Houston actually has one of the better ballet companies in the US.
It's definitely in the top 10.
I don't know how old your kids are, or whether any of them would have interest in seeing ballet, but at least if you even got dragged to the Nutcracker, you'd be seeing a damned good company.
