That's usually where I have to stay when I travel. Once though, the guy I was working with asked for a Drury and got it. Seemed like a notch up but ultimately I don't care. I'm mainly out working and then sight-seeing.

I'd typed it up, decided not to post it, so "erased it," but evidently the site saved it (I know it does that, but I don't post here enough anymore to really remember it), so when I quoted beardown's Clockwork Orange gif, the rest showed up at the top.

Never heard of Drury until looking in Nashville. They are supposed to be decent? They got good reviews but look just like average joints

Absolutely hit and miss. Some are ok, some are shit. Give me a Hilton Garden Inn any day. Middle of the road, but they’re all the same.

Embassy suites is my go to. I find HGIs to be hit and miss. Some are the traditional boxy hotels with small meh rooms, others are more…unique. Stayed in one near Minneapolis which had an ant infestation in the restaurant that was like a ten square foot area. Let the staff know and they just said “yea, we know.” Not sure if it was an HGI issue or a low IQ Minnesotan thing.

I am presently in a Hampton Inn. Sucks, but it is right next to the venue (gymnastics competition).
