tReal Official Night Shift v68, because I can and you better love it, Mfers.

Oahu. Was a great trip. Sucks having to go home and back to real world
I think that’s where I’m going at the end I of September. Wish it wasn’t for a wedding but at least I’ll get a break from work.

Also btw- I’m getting paid next week since I just submitted a month’s worth of timecards

Yes, kinda sucks because you are stuck on whatever they have you doing with wedding instead of doing what you want

I don't go to destination weddings. Ruffles some feathers, but I'm not spending a couple of thousand bucks to see you toss a bouquet.

Destination wedding people SUCK

The only worse people are those who leave instructions in their will about how they want their ashes scattered over the Antarctic

At least you can just stash those ashes in somebody's freezer and they'll never know the difference.

You also got to feel badly for the bridesmaids that have to buy ridiculously expensive outfits that are unfit for wearing anywhere else.

Right, what are they gonna do? Haunt people?

My wife's aunt passed away a few years back. She wanted her ashes dropped in three or four different places, had a bunch of artwork she wanted to donate to several people and organizations, wanted her musical instruments donated to a conservatory in Maryland...she never married or had kids so it all fell to my wife and her siblings (mostly my wife). She did leave them all a chunk of money each, which was nice.

I told my family to flush me down the toilet, I won't be here to care. If they want to have a memorial service, that's on them and they can do whatever makes them happy.

Don't feel bad for bridesmaids. If they were smart they would say no and just enjoy the wedding like a regular person.

About fucking time. My SS check was a little short this last time. The money should be there by the second Wednesday this month so I'll have enuf for a trip to The Reservation.

They get excited in the moment when asked to participate, then later they learn the financial hit. Hard to say no after you already said yes.

I had a GF in college that was asked to be in a Bridezilla's wedding party. There were dress fittings and teas and bruncheons and mixers and cotillions and so forth, scattered all over Northern Georgia. Whenever she complained about the travel or the time commitments, she would get a vague threat such as "there are dozens of other sorority sisters ready to take your place." They had a falling out over something stupid and she was "banished" from the wedding. I don't think they ever spoke again.

The stress they go through to plan the fucking thing is incredible. Of course as the groom, you don't have to do shit but show up when scheduled, and don't forget the ring.
