Tuesday With Fewer Douchebags

that actually makes sense, I obviously don't need to connect in MSP, so it's just go to my gate. Being I'm just going from entry to gate, I've never really thought about how far gates are apart, but I know what you're talking about

I have my own complaints about BNA. But mostly I just used to spend too much time in airports. I hope this lack of client travel never ends. If I have to start paying real money for my travel, so be it. It beats being away from home 20+ weeks a year.

I'm finally running low on points. Used most of my Delta miles on my last trip to my parents. Have 1 free day left with Hertz. Used all my Marriott points on my next trip to Disney. Not sure when I'll run out of Southwest points though... still have like 200K.

Yes. Make sure you have a copy of your vaccination card with you at all times. Go to their website (I can send you a link if you need it) and upload a picture of your vaccination card. They’ll send you a QR code to get out of the airport. But every restaurant you go to and the hotels will require proof of vaccination. Everywhere requires masks as well.
Thanks. I have a picture of mine on my phone, but I'll make a copy of it to bring along, too. Just in case.

Atlanta can be tricky in that regard. Granted they have that train.. but a tight connection has caused me an issue or two there.

I skip the train in Atlanta and use the moving walkway areas. It's usually nice and quiet there and I can take a call on my transfer.

There's a good, happy medium for travel. I would like to travel a little more, but not a lot.... Probably 1-2 trips a month and 5 or 6 days.

oddly I don't get travel at all as finance guy for the university of MN

Outside of a day trip to Duluth.

Thanks. You guys just stay in San Juan? We're going to be in Boquerón for about half and San Juan for about half. Booked a Jeep to cruise around in.
I stayed at La Concha in Condado. I have an office not too far from there.

We had some pretty good wind. I chased a stainless steel dog bowl about 70 ft across the yard.

Of course the 2 dead limbs I need to get rid of lasted right through it, still holding on.

Still howling here. 25 to 35 mph susrained and we had gusts from 60 to 70. Couple furniture cushions floating in the pool right now. Empty garbage can somehow got blown over the 6 foot block wall and into the front yard. Will report back later when i decide to weather the freezing 48 degree temps.

I'm seeing Peter wrapped up like Ralphie from A Christmas Story

Yep... We don't know when we can restart some lines because our raw material suppliers don't know when they can provide material. Nuts
Was thinking of finally taking on the kitchen remodel this winter, but I think I'm going to push that out. I don't want delays and more expensive material because of supply chain problems. Probably take on a smaller winter task like redoing the fireplace/mantel.

We'll probably redo our kitchen as well, but agreed i want to wait until things calm down

Weather delays and connections are always a million miles away.
I never have to connect here in MSP, so I love it. It's a great airport to chill in before a flight. Good restaurants and bars.

I had a tight connection there once when it was just me and my 6-month old. I was sprinting through the airport pushing a stroller with one arm and pulling my carry-on with the other. They tried to stop me from going down the escalator with a stroller and I pushed right past them because the line to the elevator was like 10 wheelchairs long. Made it with about 90 seconds to spare.

Have lots of veggies and some cheese tortellini in the fridge. Thinking cheese tortellini with mushrooms, bacon and turnip greens for supper tonight. In-laws come in a couple days, so I need to get the fridge cleaned out a bit for whatever extras we'll have sitting around when they are here.
