UM folds ... accepts punishment

Evidence is already there. It could be slapping you in the face and you'd deny it being there.
Nonsense. The NCAA needs to rule on if it's a rule violation. Period. The B10 ruled that it was an NCAA rule violation before the NCAA did, and used a procedural agreement to enforce their interpretation of it.

Fun fact: people don't like cheaters. Get your damn house in order already. 5 coaches and assistants fired in less than a year? Cyber crimes? Pedophiles? Rampant racism? What the fuck is wrong with your team?
Not familiar that, but it sounds like we are cleaning house ... is ohio state cleaning house or are y'all perfect?

OSU has atoned for sins in the past. We fired a championship winning HC because of some players trading their possessions for tattoos.

Apparently, it is some sort vague sportsmanship policy ... I like to read it. Could be interesting. Kinda like an insurrection without weapons.

I don't think it's technically a B1G Rule but it could definitely fall within their sportsmanship policies.

Here it is....

Agreement 10.01 states in part that “The Big Ten Conference expects all contests involving a member institution to be conducted without compromise to any fundamental element of sportsmanship. Such fundamental elements include integrity of the competition, civility toward all, and respect, particularly toward opponents and officials.”

Using this agreement to punish Michigan in this case has opened a can of worms I don't think the other schools understand.

... and in my humble opinion that was bullshit (still more serious than buying a kid a cheeseburger). It would have been nice to beat Tressel (may have taken us another 10 years). Tressel seemed like an arrogant asshole.

Me, your mama and some other whore
Floatin down the river on a shit house door…

Seems like ohio state should be punished for calling us cheaters ... doesn't sound sportsmanlike.

Well...EXACTLY the problem they've unleashed. Anything the B10 commissioner rules he doesn't like, he can punish instantly with an unappealable ban.

I don't think it is stealing signs, when the signs are given in full view of 50,000+ people at the stadium and on national television. Decoding signs is a more accurate term. Having simplistic signs that are easily decoded or not having a deceptive procedure to send in the signs are on the team giving the signs. I think the Georgia situation is simple ... a damn good team.

This topic keeps going around in circles. The reason it keeps going around in circles is the Michigan fanbase likes to omit words in the process of distracting.

The words "in-person scouting of future opponents" are those words being omitted.

Of course teams attempt to steal signs. Of course teams watch video to scout future opponents in attempt to gather information. Not a damn person here is arguing those things.

What Michigan did was "in-person scouting of future opponents".

That is a black and white NCAA rule that Michigan broke for over two seasons, and by all appearance benefitted from the scheme.

Call it a stupid rule. Call for headsets in helmets. Blame whomever for uncovering the scheme. Blame teams for not having their signs coded well enough. IDGAF.

It doesn't take away from the rule violation.

ATF....really? You had a serial wife beater on staff for how many years? And a head coach that tried to cover it up?

Do you know the rule? Why is it a rule? Before Video you would have to attend a game for scouting purposes.

I see the dipshit parade has come to town. Do some research, dude. He was a POS but his wife was worse. Her own mother even came out and said she was the one causing everything.
