I'm behind schedule AND I have a flat tire! I only have one topcoat on the columns and I was hoping to have two on by now. I wanted to mount the columns today. I probably still will. After dinner, I can paint again and after a few more hours I will haul my columns up and fasten them where they belong.

This is what happens when loafing & whatnot becomes more important than work! Time for some lazy gifs!

I really don't have anything to do for a while, I think I might check out that link that my new buddy showed me! I sure wish Bunny would let me grow it in the basement again. She won't, not until it's legal.

If it was legal, I wouldn't need to grow my own! Silly Bunny!

Hey Friend! Well I will tell you. She's coming around I think. I have to say, yes, I am working on myself, but when we locked eyes last week, that shit had an effect on her! And I swear, I wasn't trying to intimidate her, it just got said!

Anyway, she started talking about watching TV in bed with me! I really think sooner than later she will be spending nights with me again.

Well Hell's Bells! I didn't achieve my daily goals! Ya just can't rush paint to dry... I got a second topcoat on the the three columns but I ran out of time to fasten them to the walls. Bunny was sleeping and that spare POS bedroom is directly above where I was going to work and I started to prep the walls with nailers so I have something solid to fasten the hollow columns to and I woke up Bunny. I stopped immediately. I feel better about letting the paint dry overnight anyway.

This one piece of wood in the corner, it's a nailer for the left column. It looks like that's all I did today!

Yeah! The shelves will be a breeze to put together, most of the time on spent on them will be painting. Hanging the shelves might more of a challenge. I started buying rolls of wood veneer used for covering up the plys on plywood. Because I plan to use more and more quality plywood instead of hardwood boards.

Maple and oak were already pricey before this new post Covid pricing took place. I know you get it, Pete, a medium sized project can use hundreds of linear feet of boards. So yes, I am really pleased I learned how to work with plywood. I didn't get good until I got clumsy!

not sure if B2C passed this on to you at his latest sermon or not but THEE day is upon us. That's right once a year every april all shops with any paraphernalia get in the spirit of elevating our fellow man. Anyway my email is blowing up with 4/20 deals so if you're keen to try something new id say get while the orderin is cheap en sech.
 
I think I'm done working for today. I am so tired, like dozing off tired every time I relax. I have a date with Dr. Dean this afternoon, I'm excited for that though! Maybe I can take a nap but I want to take my Power Wheels out too. My date is at 4pm eastern and I don't have time to nap and Power Wheel!

A decision Shan't be Denied!

You are one smart Macadamia Nut Cookie! My inner junkie is SO demanding! After my column work yesterday I got cleaned up, me and my inner junkie decided to go Power Wheelin and I promptly fell asleep for almost three hours. My inner junkie was furious with me!

So after dinner, I knew there is a Sherwin - Williams paint store on my Power route, I need a gallon of primer. The paint store is about a 1/4 mile before the vape store. Well just to appease my Inner Junkie, we agreed to go to vape store first. And in the meantime, I dint realize how late it was and when I got back to the paint shop, they were closed! They close at 6PM Eastern! Now I'm the one with anger issues and my Inner Junkie, he don't even care about nothing!

It's very important I keep my Inner Junkie happy but he ain't in charge!!!

That cracked me up all day yesterday! You Nebraska guys, I already was sorta confused about who is who and YOU are making it more so!

Here's my ride right here! Notice how my rear view mirrors are facing forward. I don't give three shits whats behind me! Whatever is behind me, that's where it belongs, the fuck outta my way!

Okay friends, I gotta get back after those shelves, it's going good. It is taking longer than I earlier thought but that is A-Okay. Early next week looks like a completion.
