Wednesday Morning with an NBA game tonight

Tried a new-ish restaurant somewhat close to us last night. British Pub. Liked the vibe, the the food wasn't great. It was good enough, but not something I'd seek out too often. Basically, if I was hungry and near there I would go there, but probably not going to choose it if I'm sitting at home thinking about where I want to go.

Going out with a few friends tonight that I haven't seen since probably last January. Looking forward to some good food and a lot of belly laughs.

The fact that it was British should have clued you into the quality of the fare.
 
Guess they are going to paint our doors in our apartments.. At least the outside portion in the hallway, odd

And our paralegal gave us her notice this morning. Her husband got a job in South Dakota and she has to move. She was pretty upset about the whole thing. Probably should buy her lunch today.

Mr. Kobe loves scotch eggs and they had those on the menu. He really liked those, but everything else was just alright. Figured we'd give it a try because not many places have scotch eggs on the menu.

It's not but our doors don't need to be painted. and It's a little scary when you open your door and there is some random dude sitting there with a paint brush in his hand
 
Just saw the Real ID deadline was moved to May 2023. Sweet. I was getting nervous about not having a valid passport or Real ID yet. Now I can get my passport updated and then not worry about any flying issues. I've hesitated on getting my Real ID because I was afraid I'd get hassled at the airport with a clipped ID or something. Now I can just get the passport and once that gets here I won't have to worry about any ID issues while my Real ID is pending.
 
Today I'm trying to decide if I like U2's Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby better.

Last night, I thought I was leaning Achtung, but after listening to them both, I might be shifting to Joshua Tree. Gonna listen to each one again and try to make my choice.

my real ID didn't take too long to get, for all fear and panic, I think it was 5 weeks....

Do most british pubs even really make "british" food? Any of them I have really ever been too just try to have a british pub atmosphere while serving your regular bar menu.
