What Food is your State known for

Oklahoma: Steak, awesome but Chicken Fried Steak with gravy is the right answer. As a native I'm offended by this.

Minnesota: technically correct but unless you are a 60 year old woman hot dish is a hell no. Someone mentioned the Jucy Lucy and that would be my pick. Pickled hearing is in the conversation because it's really regional but a cheese filled burger vs meh fish, an easy choice and an even easier choice when compared to a combination of cream of mushroom soup and frozen tater tots.

Nebraska: no Runza? The list is shit on that alone.

South Dakota: yeah, lefse is on point. I'd say chislic is in the running here as it always shows up in this list but in 5 years there I never had chislic but had a shit ton of lefse. Easy call on that one.

Had a pizza pastie for lunch today.

Essentially a Stromboli with flaky crust. Excellent.

Its low country boil, and its not particularly close. Followed by shrimp and grits, barbeque, and peaches.
 
PA: Cheesesteaks from both sides, pretzels, chocolate, pierogis

IL: Pizza, Italian beef, popcorn, gyros.

Missouri: KC bar-be-que and uhh.....fried cockroaches? It sure as shit isn't that melted cheese on cardboard that is STL pizza.
