If I had to put money on it I'd say that the mob (they hated RFK) and the Cubans (Russian connection) were complicit in using Oswald as a patsy. The magic bullet theory is ridiculous and defies too many knowns about ballistics so, that combined with the slim chances that LHO was able to fire 3 shots from a bolt action rifle in such quick fashion and score a head shot from that distance and make JFK head explode in the wrong direction leads me to believe that we never got the all of the information we needed because......................................... CIA.

ok… let me ask this and again I’m not trying to gotcha. I really am interested in opposing view points on this subject.

if you think Oswald only fired 1 or 2 shots how do you explain:

1) the three shell casings found on the 6th floor and

2) the testimony of the two witnesses one floor below on the 5th floor who heard 3 shots from above and three shell casings hit the floor above them. (Did you see their videos of their testimony?)

Our government has waffled on the ins and outs enough that I know they’re lying. Just don’t know exactly what are the lies.

When you assumed I’d always thought this was a conspiracy, you were wrong. The young Alex P. Keaton version of me believed elected officials and their official conclusions.

couple things.

I absolutely agree that the mob hated the Kennedy’s. I can also believe that they may have talked about killing one or both of them. What I don’t believe is that Oswald was working with them. I’ve laid out the reasons why previously. I think if the mob was planning a hit on jfk that Oswald just got to him first.

So do you think Oswald fired a shot at all?

Have no idea if the CIA was actively involved in JFKs death. But they certainly played a role in discrediting witnesses and casting doubt anywhere they could.

as I’ve mentioned before I previously read Just about all the conspiracy books for school and I was absolutely convinced it was s conspiracy. What this book did for me was logically showed me how that was literally impossible. That book breaks this case down to show it’s impossible. Now, I am constantly challenging that belief. I’m constantly looking for the eureka moment that this book can’t answer. I have found it yet. That’s why I’m asking you these questions.

Yes, he took a couple of shots. Kill shot came from the front.

I won’t argue against this. I’ll argue what the motivation was that they did it. All agencies like this went into panicked CYA mode after this. The CIA was a weird beast. They might not have even knew for sure if anything could be tied back to them. And they handled it how they knew to handle it.

I’m no fucking fan of the CIA at all. I just don’t see the possible footprints of their explicit involvement in it.

Somebody created an Oswald body double prior to the assassination. He was in Mexico City and he contacted the Soviet Embassy. Could’ve been the KGB, but I assume CIA.

Wasn’t the FBI, unless Hoover was somehow out of the loop. Which doesn’t seem possible.

Ruby was deranged himself. He was always a hot head with judgement issues. He was a ticking time bomb himself. One bit I never knew is the ad taken out below the day of the assassination. Ruby was dead set that someone was trying to frame the Jews in the community for being pinned with the killing. He not only felt this strongly and was unstable from it right after….he spent the last few years in jail telling people that he knows millions of Jews are being tortured in the basement of the jail.

He was unhinged, and he was there the day of the prisoner transfer. There was more at play than his shaky thin possible mob connections.

We'll never know. Oswald was qualified as a marksman and even sharpshooter. He was radicalized as a Russian agent, most likely, and was not a crazy. Drawing the line to whoever might've been his handler (if he ever had one), is the only missing piece.

Ruby being conveniently obsessed was also just too much of a coincidence. No one ever bothered to question if JFK had enemies and what plots they might have had to arrange an assassination attempt.

if you read the book it’s OBVIOUS that Oswald was not a hired gun. The book chronicles his entire life right down to his grades in grammar school. He was a misfit his whole life. Never found a place to fit in.

The ruby thing is certainly bizarre but that in and of itself doesnt make for a conspiracy. He really thought he’d be hailed as a hero.

Perhaps I'll give it a read. The whole thing was always weird. It has the hallmarks of being organized, yet was always deemed a crazy lone shooter.
 
Just a few thoughts.

Why was Jack Ruby at the police station when Oswald was brought in? He is on camera, he does not look agitated or like someone who is about to murder someone in two days. He looks more like someone who's waiting to hear what Oswald says.

The day of the assassination, Jack Ruby is spotted across the street from Dealey Plaza and it was reported he said to an FBI informant by the name of Bob Vanderslice to "watch the fireworks".

Oswald was arrested 70 minutes after the assassination and the police never looked at anyone else.

Why didn't he admit his guilt, if this indeed was an assassination for political reasons why would he not admit it, now is his time to shine, for the world to know him, when John Wilkes Booth killed Lincoln he made sure everyone knew it was him because it was done for political reasons. Oswald never admits anything.

He worked at the Texas Schoolbook Depository and just decided to leave the gun and spent shell casings there? That sounds like someone who wants to get caught, yet he never came close to taking credit for the assassination.

Every time we see Oswald he's wearing light colors but on the day Ruby "shoots" him he is wearing a black sweater and black pants. After he's shot he falls to the floor, he's picked up and brought back into the station. He was reportedly shot in the chest just below the left nipple according to the autopsy the bullet pierced his stomach, spleen, liver, kidney a renal vein, they gave him 15 pints of blood but he bled out yet when he's brought out to the ambulance you see absolutely not a spot of blood anywhere on him or the people bringing him out to the ambulance.

Looking at the sketch of where Kennedy was shot in the back, if that bullet entered his body 5 - 6 inches below his neck how could it come out through his neck where it did? The bullet supposedly was shot from the sixth floor, how could a bullet be shot from that high up enter his back and go up 5 - 6 inches and exit his throat? Look at the Zapruder film, he was not bent over when he was struck by the bullet.
