What Is The PAC’s or Big 12’s Move?

Every school not in the B1G or SEC will be a midmajor.
And some IN the B1G and SEC will be too except the trust fund payments left by their forefathers will be bigger.
Fair point

Keep the PAC 10 together, Bolt to the Big 12, Push to join the ACC.

And obviously hope someone in ND makes a decision so we can join the Big Ten as the 18th team but there's nothing Oregon can do to speed that process up.
I hope you guys join the ACC and have to wake up at 7am to watch your team play.

I live on the East Coast so I'd actually prefer the ACC time slots. Oregon fans had to wake up for a 9 AM PT kickoff last year and it worked out alright

Honestly, I think there is more low-hanging fruit in the PAC than the B12 so you have a much better argument.

Iowa State has done a great job the last 3 years
Baylor has recovered
TCU has struggled but has been good enough in recent years to be respected
Kansas gets a pass because of basketball and they just won a natty
Kansas State is probably the least attractive at this point but no one hates KSU
You just added BYU, Cincinnati (world beaters baby) and UCF which all have some recent great years. Overall without USC and UCLA the Big 12 is a better league top to bottom.

Nobody has any respect for Oregon State or Washington State and Berkely is so weird I don't see how anyone like them.

The two biggest things in your favor are this would put the Holy War (Utah vs BYU) in the same conference and it gives the Arizona schools much more exposure in Texas for recruiting which they have craved.

I think you see Utah, AZ, ASU and Colorado all bolt in the next two weeks. Once that happens the PAC is done with no shot of recovery.
I think the fact that Oregon, Udub and Stanford are still there helps the Pacs cause. Those are most likely the 3 best programs between both conferences after this latest shit show realignment. Grabbing 6 members of the B12 would likely help the pac survive Long term. Only thing the B12’ers would have to worry about is some or all of the 3 jumping to the B1G.

Phil Knight prefers the B1G...

Nike's Phil Knight Wants Oregon to Join Big Ten, per Report - Sports Illustrated

so Uncle Phil can speed up the process by paying all of Notre Dame's ACC exit settlement fees under the stipulation that Notre Dame and Oregon enter the B1G together as a two-pack.

Phil Knight is 84 years old and cannot take his billions to the grave, so he could always spend a little pocket change now to buy Oregon into the B1G by bribing Notre Dame.

EDIT:

And after Notre Dame's contract with Under Armour expires in a couple years, Phil Knight could also offer the Irish a very juicy Nike apparel deal.
