Yeah he got decent stats, but he sure could do shit down the stretch.

That was it. I think Eason's stat line was 0-6 before getting pulled. The AFC was weak back then except for the RaidersHaven't looked at the stats but the Super Bowl Shuffle Bears immediately came to mind when I thought about worst performances in the Super Bowl. The most dominating defense and New England actually scored first if I remember but they were lucky to score at all.
Kelce set the record for most yards receiving by a TE in Super Bowl history.I was pretty drunk and not really paying super-close attention, but it seemed to me that Tampa's secondary completely took Hill and Kelce out of the game. Mahommes looked scared to pull the trigger, and then it just got retarded at the the end there.
That group should’ve got MVP.No QB or OL could stand before that devastating Tampa defense.
I drank half a box of Costco cabernet yesterday and could have hit Gronk on 7 yard slants. That group should’ve got MVP.
Brady’s biggest contributions were lobs that drew weak flags.
...that's 6+ ypc. That is fucking good in the NFL.They got 74 total rushing yards from guys not named Mahomes. Twelve rushes.
Had a few Sooners on those teams as well IIRC.Steve Grogan (K-State) to Irving Fryar (Nebraska) is what made me a Pats fan.
I said I was pretty drunk.Kelce set the record for most yards receiving by a TE in Super Bowl history.
Sorry. That was it. I think Eason's stat line was 0-6 before getting pulled. The AFC was weak back then except for the Raiders
0-6 with no ints isn’t even a big enough sample size.Sorry.
I think 0-6 is better than 4 completions for 39 yds & 4 INTs in a superbowl.
Pretty crazy considering he could have done even more.Kelce set the record for most yards receiving by a TE in Super Bowl history.
What kind of qb gets pulled that early in the super bowl? Did they really have a major qb dilemma even after winning the afc?0-6 with no ints isn’t even a big enough sample size.
I was born in 91, so I don’t know. What kind of qb gets pulled that early in the super bowl? Did they really have a major qb dilemma even after winning the afc?
Yes, IIRC correctly they stormed through the playoffs as a wild card behind some good D and great running. There were two average (at best) QBs and i don’t think they really settled on one. What kind of qb gets pulled that early in the super bowl? Did they really have a major qb dilemma even after winning the afc?
Hard to blame a receiver for giving up on a play when the QB is 30 yards behind the LOSI guess hitting guys in the helmet isn't good enough, lol.
No pocket to step into. Hard to blame the QB.Hard to blame a receiver for giving up on a play when the QB is 30 yards behind the LOS
Maybe, and the coaching staff didn’t help him out with the play calls, but at the same time, he’s the QB and can audibleNo pocket to step into. Hard to blame the QB.
