Who will win Heisman

Agreed he has better stats, but when was the last time a Heisman went to someone on a 3 loss team? RG3? Daniels will finish with better stats, but if Nix wins out, it means beating top 20 Oregon State, and a rematch with UW. Daniels also has no game of significance down the stretch.

It just doesn't make sense to say he can't win it. If he plays like he has, and the team has, he's looking at 40+ TD's and a CFP appearance.

I'd be fine giving it to Daniels, but to say Nix can't win it when he is either 2nd or 3rd right now doesn't make much sense.

I'm not saying he won't get an invite to NY, he may. I think without a clear cut top guy this year -- I think it will come down to Pennix if they get to the CFP or Daniels because of the absurd numbers he is putting up.

That's just my thoughts.

Okay, but why Penix? Nix has better stats across the board (except for total yards, which Penix leads by like 30 or something). I get UW won the H2H, but Nix was great that game, and certainly wasn't the reason they lost.

Like I said, I'd be fine with Daniels winning because he's been absurd, but he's had no win of note, and no "Heisman moment". Not at all his fault I know.

Pennix over Nix because Pennix beat Nix and they have comparable numbers. If Pennix loses -- I don't think he wins either. I think it goes to Jayden Daniels.

If you gave Jayden Daniels a Pac 12 schedule -- his numbers would be even more absurd, the fact he has put them up in the best conference in CFB makes me think he gets it.

You never know with the Heisman though.

The PAC is the best conference in CFB.

Daniels used to play in the PAC....and didn't put up comparable numbers.

At least you have a sense of humor. The PAC being the best conference gave me a good laugh.

Daniels put up 17 tds and 2 ints as a true freshman at ASU. And let's be honest -- the guy had no one to throw to his last couple years at ASU.

And to say Daniels didn't put up comparable numbers -- look no further than what Bo Nix did at Auburn. Auburn couldn't wait to get him out the door. Look what Bo Nix did when Oregon played Georgia last year.

The SEC and P12 are basically rated the same from a power rating standpoint so that argument doesn't really hold much weight.

It's just pretty ridiculous to say that the odds on favorite to win the Heisman has no chance.

Stop. Last year -- the SEC had more defensive players drafted into the NFL than the PAC had total players drafted into the NFL.

The caliber of defenses Jayden Daniels faces on a weekly basis is light years better than the caliber of defenses Bo Nix faces.
 
The main reason I'm not convinced Penix will get it even if they win out is the same reason I'd be leary about Nix. It's tough for a west coast kid to get it unless they went to USC. There have been many worthy guys left out over the years.

Too many voters east of the rockies.

If you guys go undefeated -- I think he will win it. There is no runaway guy this year and the other best option (jayden daniels) has lost multiple times.

Personally, I think the best player in college football is Marvin Harrison Jr., but he has no chance.

It is every year though. The PAC always has the least amount of players drafted to the NFL and the SEC always has the most. Their total is usually around double the amount of the PAC.

The hell does last year have to do with anything? SEC is 4-7 against P5 OOC. And I'm guessing that record gets worse the last week of the season.
