Intelligence official says hostile country may be planning to attack major sporting event​

"A top Israeli military intelligence official said on Monday that Iran could be mounting an attack on the World Cup, but may hesitate due to uncertainty over how the host Qataris would react."

I'm not convinced Iranians give a rip about how the Qataris would react. Then again I'm not convinced the worlds supposed intelligence officials have any integrity.

Who thought Qatar was a good idea? North Korea would have been a better loc than the mussie world.
 
Wish I could care. I am kind trying, in that I'm waiting news about it to bother me.
 
Haven't looked at the stats for this morning's game yet but it looks like Saudi Arabia had at least double the amount of shots on target as we had yesterday. One team was playing Wales and the other, Argentina.

Well that is a big plus for one of my teams: Poland and Robert Lewandowski. Poland, Germany, USA, Sweden are my heritage. I root for those in tournaments. In an hour or so Poland vs Mexico. That becomes a huge game now as the winner surely qualifies for the knockouts now.

Ends 36 game unbeaten streak. One short of the record. Only one Asian Nation (considered based on their qualifying group) has ever scored on Argentina in the World Cup. The other South Korea.

Germany for the win! But Poland is on my root for list, really like Lewandowski. Hope he has a great tournament.

IMO the 2002 era was the Golden Generation. Friedel, Keller and Howard at GK. Pope, O'Brien, Jones, Mathis, Reyna, McBride, Donovan, Wolff, et all.

I'd even take a Clint Dempsey right now. No striker since him. Kind of reminds me of Germany too. No striker since Miroslav Klose. That has been 8 years for Germany with no striker.

I find myself rooting against Messi. Not as much as i root against Ronaldo, but I just can't bring myself to cheer for Argentina when he's involved.
 
When the different players yell at the refs? Do they understand them?
 
Disappointed in Poland so far. Where is the midfield? Wasting Robert Lewandowski with that style. I really thought Poland was better but getting dominated by Mexico. Basically Poland offense is lets get a set piece and pray Lewandowski provides some magic.
