World Cup Qualifying

And this right here is the problem and why he should be fired regardless of if we qualify or not. Tactically, they played exactly how he wanted. And the team looks like shit. The players have been doing what he wants throughout qualifying, its just a mess because he's in over his head. That's why you see the Euro players like Pulisic, McKennie, others going up to him during games almost arguing with him about what they need to be doing. He's not putting any of them in positions to take advantage of their skills. If this team qualifies and leaves him as manager, they're gonna get destroyed in the WC unless they somehow luck into a really softass group.
Good article sums is up. Remember, 4th place has a one off against probably New Zealand to qualify. Seems ideal, but remember 4 years ago Trinadad and Tobago seemed ideal too.

Canada took a page out the USMNT's playbook in World Cup qualifying role reversal

This quote says it all. Is it too late to bring in Jesse Marsch to finish off 2022? 1643729809232.png

One of the best summaries of Berhalter I have read. Spot on.

No Tyler Adams or Chris Richards today. Injured. Adams injury helps Bayern this weekend though.

Lineup probably be:

Pulisic (maybe Aaronson), Pepi, Weah
Musah, McKennie, Acosta (blaaaaaaaaaaaaaah).
Dest, Zimmerman, Robinson, Robinson
Turner

Nothing but a win acceptible today.

Those Honduran boys look pretty uncomfortable during the anthems. In That kind of cold your eye lashes freeze together from time to time. You could see a couple of them struggle to open their eyes.

Both teams look like they don't like it. When they play Panama in March, that game will be in Orlando. Lucky Panama.

Morris over Pulisic in starting lineup.

Good start for the US. McKennie with the early goal

Costa Rica picked up another 3 points. Creeping up.

Canada another 3 points. Not much changing in the standings. Panama Mexico 0-0 at half. If Panama wins those USA games get even more critical in March. Canada pretty much there unless a huge collapse. No Alphonso Davies .... no problem!!!!

Definitely. USA may need that home win against Panama or they could be out.

Mexico is so useless.....or we can find a way to win/draw in Mexico and be in solid shape.

I'm not expecting points out of game so any points would be shocking.

Panama got a lock win in the first round of games in the final window which is why entering with a 4 point lead is huge

Is goal differential a tiebreaker if teams are tied ? Currently we are +7 in that over Panama but yeah beating Panama is the best way around it. Can't expect much from Canada if they already clinched at that point which look likely

so freaking intense
