TV Series Better Call Saul

I hope not. The story is resolved, but we’ve been waiting 6 seasons to get Saul, hope we get more than a 10 minute flash forward.
??

He has been Saul for the last 2 or 3 seasons

Not really, he’s been kinda between Jimmy and Saul, he was even the more reserved one with the Howard plan for the last season. The BB Saul is way more of a lowlife pig than Jimmy ever was, and we just barely got a glimpse of it with the flash forward. I don’t think we’ll get much more of that timeline, but there’s more they can do with it, even if it’s just cold opens.

It did feel somewhat summed up two episodes ago when he was sitting behind his desk.

Walt and Jesse show up tonight.

We sure as fucking shit are not done with the Jimmy/Saul timeline ha
Kinda hoping for a scene of Walt and Saul in the vacuum cleaners basement. Feel like that time span had some conversations worth watching.

Jesus, I mean could these last two episodes mean any less? Terrible ending. I haven't invested the last several years in this show for this.

100% agree. These last 2 episodes have been like watching Chariots of Fire.

Tell me how valuable they are to the series.

Well lets see,

The show is Better Call Saul. We are finishing Sauls journey that was not finished in BB because that was not his story.

And we are seeing him not be able to put his Saul ways behind. Just as valuable as his transformation to become Saul, is seeing him not be able to stay away from it.

The very end of the episode was veering pretty far from his normal criminal behavior.

Not gonna lie, these last episodes could be my least favorite back to backs of the series. The buildup had better pay off.

Like Kim is working for a secret NASA mission or some shit.

The build up always pays off. This show is a slow burn and people always question it too early.

First it was spending 3 episodes setting up the Howard scam. Huge pay off.

Last week everyone thought it was gonna be random one off filler. They are already building off of it.

Hes desperate. Hes desperate for his old life. Both the thrill and what he had with someone like Kim.

He seems more power hungry than desperate. Jeffy and his big buddy guy are easy profits. Actual break ins are out of character.

But I do appreciate the tie in with taking on Walt and Jesse, against Mike’s advice.

Assuming we have a surprise coming with Bill the lawyer guy. Hoping for a Tuco moment.

Not much time left for slow burning.

Don’t know what you guys are watching, I was sort of on the fence with the last episode, thought it was good, but abrupt going full Gene, this one is starting to tie it all together, love how they’re tying in BB Saul with what Gene is doing. And those BB scenes were very revealing. We just learned Saul is completely responsible for bringing WW into the cartel game. And some of you are asking how it’s meaningful to the series?

Didn’t we have almost that exact fight about starting the Winnebago between J&W in BB? That scene was soooo familiar.

Walt met Tuco long before Saul was on the show.

He brought himself into the cartel game by making goat meth.

Was the shocker Saul seeing dollar signs from our two meth makers? He fought to keep making money off them the entire time he was on BB. His idea was to kill Skyler, in order to keep making more. Which would’ve made for more enjoyable tv, but still.

Tuco was dead by then and wasn’t really working with Walter on behalf of the cartel, at least until he was gonna take them to Mexico to be their slave labor. Their business was small at the time, Mike made it pretty clear that he wasn’t on their radar, and that if he was they’d want nothing to do with him unless their operation got too big.
