TV Series Better Call Saul

The very end of the episode was veering pretty far from his normal criminal behavior.

Not gonna lie, these last episodes could be my least favorite back to backs of the series. The buildup had better pay off.

Like Kim is working for a secret NASA mission or some shit.
Same here. This has been my least favorite part of the series.

I really dont see why the cameo was needed. We all knew that story. Seeing a 42 yo Paul play the 25 yo Pinkman was a tad silly. It seemed like a cameo for the sake of having a cameo.

It did two things:

1) It showed that Saul was far more instrumental to the events that played out in Breaking Bad than we previously known watching the show. Essentially, the entire destruction of Fring's empire and then later Walt himself is tied to Saul not listening to Mike and leaving it alone. That's actually pretty interesting and insightful

2) Narratively speaking for BCS, it further cements that Jimmy/Saul/Gene is destructive and his own worst enemy. He gets a thing going but he juuuuust needs a little bit more. In the face of better judgement and advice, he always swerving the opposite way. Like his brother Chuck said way back when that still haunts him, he doesn't change. He views himself as a victim of circumstances, the world screwing him, etc but its himself that's his undoing. That's why the episode is shot the way it is. You see it play out in the BB timeline and that behavior is manifesting itself again as Gene.

That episode, and the Gene run here to end the series have been extremely well done

I’m gonna need to see Saul working Gus to deal with Walt and his junky idiot lab tech before I give him credit for any “success”.

I liked seeing them reunited on show but it really didn't add anything. Almost like they just threw something together so they could join the two shows together before BCS ends. I would have rather them add some more to it and keep it more on a timeline than jumping back and forth. The way BCS is wrapping up doesn't come close to how well BB wrapped up.

I think the point was that Mike warned saul to not get involved with Walt as he was a reckless amateur. The next scene (or so) has saul call buddy an amateur. I think the point is that Jimmy is involved with amateurs again. The first time ended very badly. This time likely will as well.

I'm guessing that Kim will end up representing him given the teaser of her giving the lawyer oath.

Anyone know when these episodes get released to netflix

Anyone know when these episodes get released to netflix
I think all previous seasons were released right before the next season was on AMC. Typically this would mean about a year, but it held true even with the very long break between 5 & 6. Hard to say. I'm guessing a year or so.

What was the last thing Kim said to Jesse??

If you get a foreign VPN it’s on there already.
What was the last thing Kim said to Jesse??
he was when I knew him.

Fwiw, when she got out the smoke, I turned to the lil lady on the side of the couch and said “Hey Yo, can I get one of those.” I had to rewind cuz we both laughed for awhile when Jesse started talking.

He said bum but it was still funny.

This thing could’ve ended awhile ago and I would’ve appreciated the series more.

Don’t know how I want him to kill himself, but there are a lot of options for Gene still.

I heard they release the new episodes the following Tuesday on Netflix if you VPN your ass to Norland or some shit. Find which foreign Netflixes have it and you won’t have to wait.
