Hey @Wild Turkey, why didin't list the aggies vs the ass draggers as an option? I very well may turn out "bigger" than the others.
Nobody could imagine a team from Tejas taking out a top 5 contender. But hey, ya never know.

It seems so many Californians moved to Tejas, UTx is becoming Berkeley and aTm like UCLA

The real top recruits are in Florida and Georgia. Just gotta keep Bama away from them.

Bama's best offensive player is from TX.. and LSU feasted on Texas players on it's championship roster this past season.. Where exactly has Florida been? And GA has been known as having the lowest hit rate on it's bluechip players in the country.. 247 did an article on this earlier, let me go see if I can dig it up

And OSUx and all the other big $ recruiters.

Everybody in this forum knows we're seeing the rise of the East. Bama is still a juggernaut, but when it finally falls just a bit the kids will all want to be in the East.

Texas players arent the issue, its the development at Texas.. Hell aggy doesn't even recruit the state much if we are being honest.

But the talent is rich with players that are legit. Hell Jack Anderson, Sam Cosmi, Walker Little are on the first 2 All American OL teams

Speak English so we can understand you.
ouch.. coming from an Alabaman? Do you need me to send you some pickled eggs and pig feet to help you decipher this? Still early in the am

That's why we are learning to eat Quiche instead of Egg Pie. If the fire keeps burning we may get some more.

And they are coming from other parts of the country in droves too. We need to put up some no vacancy signs.

Or they'll leave when we run out of water.

Texas recruits are 10 ply bud

They had more players drafted in the first rd this past draft than anywhere else..
The good ones must be going to play outside the Big 12 then. But still, they’re soft. Tough recruits don’t get 56 points hung on them by 2 and 3 star talent

I'll be the first to admit that yes the best have been leaving.. this class for example.. Best OL prospects are heading to Bama, tosu and the other is a ou lean (but he may still go to aggy, since his family is also aggy).
tosu has also picked up Garrett Wilson, and JSN in 2019/2020.

I think Texas has the players, the disconnect is the coaching and the development.. Not because they aren't great since GA/Bama/LSU were in a lot of these recruitments for these players too. My Horns have a development/coaching issue. I'm hoping it gets better as the season goes on, and they get to play another school from the SEC in a bowl game.

I don’t know. Pretty sure all you’re gonna find in Texas is peckerwoods and bozos.

Hmmm, and yet in 2020 NFL draft (first round)

8 were Texan
4 were Georgian
and only 2 Floridians

More Texans than those two put together.
