tOfficial Fire Ryan Day thread.

My other Beef with Day this year is in blowouts he didn't even bother developing McCord. Like come on man...if Stroud goes down what the heck do we have? Let the kid play some real life scenario stuff.

Oh I agree. McCord was never even allowed to attempt to run anything close to a real offense. Just clock burning fodder. So frustrating.

Germaine was like 12/30 or some shit awful in the loss to Michigan that year that knocked us out of the national title

Yea

MSU in particular. Like so let me get this straight. MSU just expects OSU to sit on the ball for 25 minutes or they will be offended? Come on now. How about not sucking MSU

That was really Cooper's high water mark at OSU. The guy could recruit talent but it rarely translated.

Yep. And today's game was the first time since I truly felt OSU got outcoached like that. Tress definitely had his short comings but his brand was his brand. Today Day coached a totally different offensive game then we saw all year. That was the bullshit Cooper did in big games.

Days body language looked like Cooper too. Lots of hands crossed and head down. That shit rubs off on the team too

I endorse the firing of Ryan Day. Never stop your enemy when he is about to make a mistake.

Stroud becoming the first Buckeye QB to lose 2 in a row to Michigan since Steve Bellisari makes his legacy a lol.
Since you are naming old Ohio State Buckeye players -- Any chance you remember a linebacker named Ryan Miller for OSU from the mid 90's?

Harbaugh doesn't give a fuck. If we are blowing someone out and we put the backup in -- they are going to be throwing some passes. They didn't have as many of those games this year, but one game -- they had 6 different QB's complete a pass in the game.

Harbaugh is making a name for himself. If he keeps it up he will go down as one of the best Michigan coaches ever

Yeah definitely, one of the best ever without a NC win or appearance too. This year might be their best shot to actually get to the game

Who cares. He turtles again in the biggest game. Even worse than last year. At home. He’s clearly not it.
Trade Matt Campbell for Day?
Meet halfway in Peoria for the swap?
/ sarcasm

Obviously he needs to win a Natty to get into the conversation as best ever, but his complete and total ownership of Ohio State has to go a long way.

It definitely has an effect. I recall when RR was the coach, he was an emotional shit show, very negative. I think the first OSU game he coached some players were fighting each other on the sideline

This thread makes me laugh.

11-0 he is great
11-1 he needs to be fired
:laugh3:
Anybody that ever said Ryan Day was great never needs to be taken seriously again. He was a bargain bin hire and they’re getting bargain bin results in big games. You settle for a coach like Ryan Day and you lose blue blood status IMO. Can’t be a blue blood if you’re not serious about winning

EHHHH

Bo Schembechler never won a natty at Michigan and he is considered the best ever, no?

At least in the last 70 years.
