They can still lose and go through. Beat Costa Rica by a large margin, keep this game close, and Japan get battered by Spain.
 
Germany don't look great all again. Midfield getting dominated. Surprised with Goretzka and Kimmich starting. Nearly invisible the two. Can't get the ball out of the back end. Too bad Rudiger was offside. Hell of a goal it would have been. Even Neuer shaky in net. Muller not working at striker at all. Said earlier in thread that is a bad idea. Need to get Kehrer out. That guy complete junk in the defense. This is what Germany has become?

Anyways, I put Fullkrug in and Sane in and out with Muller and Gundogan and maybe Hoffman or Ginter for Kehrer.
 
Great chance to get out of the group now if this result hold up.

Beat Costa Rica and pray Japan doesn't pull the upset against Spain.

Goal must be to beat Costa Rica by at least 2 goals in case Japan get a point out of the game with Spain

Looking a lot better now. That was a big point there. Just 1 goal behind Japan in goal differential now. So a win, and Japan loss they go through.

Miami, no income tax, get some sweet real estate, invest in shit, make his fortune larger, be a fucking celebrity (which of course he already is) makes sense for him to coast out, for what’s next, life after futbol with fuck loads of monies.

Half a season in Miami since his PSG contract expires July 1st. But still...be quite a signing if it happens. Maybe he is tired of the Neymar/Mbappe drama and said ah fuck it I am out. Hope they have a San Jose road game after he signs.

I get it, but the dudes got a little life in him still. I’m shocked he is making a move this early and while 35 is old in this sport there is plenty of others a few years older then him still competing in the best leagues in Europe. I guess he’s just over it.
