Serbia went right for the ankles all game. The dark arts. Recently Vinicious Jr was complaining about his ankles getting battered in La Liga and felt lucky he made it to the World Cup without injury.

Also, Danilo got injured and out too.
 
Good news: Qatar first team eliminated with the Ecuador / Netherlands tie. Great result for Ecuador.

That was the best I have seen the USA in awhile. Midfield looks great. Even game so far.

If you are the USA, you love having Harry Maguire back on defense. Lot's of chances. Pulisic the cross bar, McKennie golden opportunity over the bar. Lot's of crosses into the box.
 
Why has the ref let the USA players place two hands on the English players and push them off of the ball all game?
And now it’s called in the 92nd minute when the USA actually pushes the guy off his feet.
 
Well. I guess I would've taken that result before the game. Kind of frustrating we couldn't finish any of those chances.

How the fuck do you not go for the win at the end? It's the literal last play. Kick it deep in the box and fight like hell for it. Even if the call a foul, so what.

But whatever. We need to beat Iran either way and I'm happy with a draw vs England considering how dogshit this team has looked for the last 2 months. That was the best we've looked in a long time. Shame we couldnt have gotten some better player movement on some of the crosses Pulisic had. He had some great balls in with hardly anyone moving to get to them.
 
Well, now I kind of hate that I did other things and missed it now.

Midfield actually played? 84% pass success if pretty good for us. Seven corners, but only one shot on target?

Oh well, I have a similar sentiment to most, tell me this morning we were going to draw England and I would be happy.

I am happy. Midfield was great. We knew we had to beat Iran anyways, but put a great effort. Good result. England can't be happy.

Ref let a lot go. I am ok with that since Dest, McKennie, Zimmerman were on yellow cards.

A cup of coffee for Gio only. This game screamed for him to come on around the 65 minute mark.

Zimmerman definitely was shaky and England knew it. That is why they ran Mount on him when he had the ball and backed off when Ream had it. Ream called up has been a good choice...it keeps Long off the field. He is the best Center Back USA has.

Striker still a problem. Haji Wright barely visible. Hope we don't see Ferreira in next game, but knowing Berhalter he will start.

Speaking of England, Harry Maguire might have been their best player. He had some big clears on the some of the crosses especially the one where he barely got and Zimmerman might have headed it in.

Poland style worked today. Defense and counter attack. Lewandowski gets his first world cup goal. Happy with this result.
