Jeff Brohm To Louisville

They have only had one season in the last ten seasons that had more than 9 wins, and that was when they were still in the Big East. They have never won double digit games in a P5 conference. They average 7 wins a season in the ACC.

Their last double digit win season was actually that one year they spent in the AAC

This is a situation where you can't just go off W-L records.

UNC finished with 9 wins, but I'm not so sure they even beat mediocre Wisconsin or Iowa teams this year if they played head to head.

I know it is a year to year situation in CFB, but I don't see anyone in the ACC near Michigan or OSU. Clemson jumps up every few years, FSU always pulls an A&M and looks good on paper, Miami won't be good until they feed their players cocaine again, and Wake fills the void in down years.

I think that in the B1G you have tOSU and UM and PSU always at the top. In the ACC, it's been Clemson, but that may not last. So you can at least be second best. Not sure Purdue could ever get second best in the B1G, especially with USC coming in.

There's not much stability anywhere in the ACC currently. Even Clemson seems to be barely clinging on from slipping down a level.

Purdue, Illinois & Indiana aren't suddenly becoming nationally relevant powers because of a TV deal.

Oh is the BiG TV deal gonna put him over the top at Purdue or something? LOL the other 14 or 16 schools are getting the same cut. They may have facilities that are newer or even better.. but it's still in Indiana

…and Louisville is still in Kentucky.

Too much of the B1G is still stuck in that old school mightier than thou "school before football" mindset. It's blatantly out in the open that this is not how it goes anymore. The B1G needs to get with the program and not take 10 years before they finally do.

It boggles my mind that teams like Purdue and Miss State are going to get twice what teams like Washington and NC State are going to get. They aren’t twice as good!

ESPN loves breaking the sick kids out against Ohio State. They did it with Iowa the year they beat the shit out of us too.

Dan Mullen being mentioned as a candidate for Purdue now coincidentally. I could see that working and by working I mean him developing low star kids into decent players and beating a team or two that they shouldn’t here and there and bowl eligibility on the regular and Purdue being happy with that.
