The Forever Purge (2021)
MAX
10/10

An annual Purge Night, in place for years since being decreed by the New Founding Fathers, has lost its appeal for the more radical groups of Purgers. These groups are impatient to "clean up" America so the Forever Purge has evolved and spread throughout the country morphing into a civil war.

A wealthy Texas rancher has been attacked and killed by Purgers but the family and workers take revenge on the Purgers and fight them off only to realize that they must leave immediately if they are to survive. After an army base has been captured by the Purgers, the city of El Paso has been lost and under NFF control.

The war has now gotten so serious that Canada and Mexico, who had been keeping their borders open for Americans, have announced their borders will close in six hours. The group from the ranch and others now must fight their way to Mexico. Lots of gun action along the way. Now safely across the border, a news reporter can be heard assessing the situation and speculating what is to become of these "American Dreamers." lol.

The long kiss goodbye 1996

I reviewed the film already.
Where the Crawdads
Netflix

Kind of a dystopia period piece chick flick with a subtle To Kill a Mockingbird vibe. The acting was decent enough. The plot layered enough and the cinematography was excellent. Makes me want to buy the book.

7/10
11/20

Aliens (1986). 8.5/10

Timeless classic. Did they really have to make Hudson such a fucking whiner though?
I think they were trying to make him the comic relief.

I realize we all have different tastes but Alien never really did it for me.
Wasnt big on Alien, but loved Aliens one of my favs. But they did make Hudson a bitch for some reason.

"Hey Vazquez you ever been mistaken for a man"
"No. Have you?"

So damn funny. Improv at its best. You will die laughing.
