Hopefully, that trend of pitching well against the Braves continues.
Thing with Kershaw, at least the few seasons, is he can be cruising along and then suddenly have the wheels come off. There won't even be a noticeable drop in velocity, or any evidence that he's tiring. Just has it one inning and it's gone the next.
Like his last outing vs. the Padres. He cruises through 5 innings, has a 4-1 lead, then comes out for the 6th and gives up back to back home runs. He managed to get out of the inning and Roberts pulled him after that. But there have been several times over the past few years where he didn't make it out of the inning and the Dodgers have lost games they looked to be in control of.
