Series Thread NLCS- Braves vs Dodgers

If you’re besmirching the great Peyton Manning, who has two Super Bowl rings and a winning record against Tom Brady in the playoffs, I’ll go upside that head

It ain't like he was known for his awesomeness in the playoffs. And his defense carried him to that SB win in Denver.

I mainly call him Peyton Kershaw because it pisses off a friend of mine who's a bigger Dodgers fan than I am. lol
Peyton got his rings though. Also, Kershaw has pitched great against the Braves in his 3 postseason starts, though he should have lost the second one, but Fredi González is more retarded than Brian Snitker

Billy Ripken just made an excellent point on MLB Network. Said a couple of the Braves, early on, should drop a bunt down & make Kershaw field his position. That'll let 'em know if his back is being quirky or not, or...........it could cause him some discomfort.

Good plan, but it’ll never happen. This team doesn’t bunt

Sad, ain't it? Acuna, Albies, Swanson.......all of them could surprise bunt for singles a lot if they were so inclined. Markakis should also be able to drop a surprise bunt, given he's a "professional hitter."

Hopefully, that trend of pitching well against the Braves continues.

Thing with Kershaw, at least the few seasons, is he can be cruising along and then suddenly have the wheels come off. There won't even be a noticeable drop in velocity, or any evidence that he's tiring. Just has it one inning and it's gone the next.

Like his last outing vs. the Padres. He cruises through 5 innings, has a 4-1 lead, then comes out for the 6th and gives up back to back home runs. He managed to get out of the inning and Roberts pulled him after that. But there have been several times over the past few years where he didn't make it out of the inning and the Dodgers have lost games they looked to be in control of.

Riley in LF again tonight. I don't really have good feelings about this.

He's gonna throw a perfect game tonight

Love that Gold Glove defense he brings to LF
Honestly, I'd rather put Camargo in left. Camargo is probably slightly better defensively at third than Riley, but Riley isn't a slouch at hot corner, but Camargo is better in the outfield.

I don't need to be reminded of when we stuck Evan Gattis in left field.

When I first saw his name on his jersey I thought it said Camaro and was thinking that was a really cool name. lol

Just keep us in it Wilson.

WHY THE FUCK DID SNIT USE YNOA YESTERDAY????!!!
I don't mind that he used Ynoa. Can't be a more low leverage situation than that, my only issue is that he could have pitch Ynoa more, but Wilson is the better choice, even if it doesn't work out. If Wilson is decent, he can throw 100 pitches where Ynoa's limit seems to be around 70.

There's a chance Wilson does the same thing Wright did yesterday, but there's also a chance Wilson can you 6 innings.

Not like he’s been great this year. I mean he’s been good sometimes but bad at times too. We mainly avoided using out best arms except Greene. Had to throw someone out there and don’t hate the decision.
