AL Central Talk

Karinchak gives up a meatball HR to the Tigers soft hitting #9 hitter to make it a 1 run game.

How long will Tito keep fucking trotting him out in crucial situations? Guy is done.
Call him soft-hitting but he'd be tied for 2nd in HRs on our fucking horrendous offense.

Yesterday’s second game was the shortest time wise since Armando’s imperfect game.

Almost 13 years.

What do your games normally last, 15? 16 years?

I remember one game when Kaline caught a deep fly ball in a tie game and the runner on 3rd tried to score. The crowd was going nuts when he crashed into the catcher but Matt Nokes hung on to the ball and Cabrera won it in the bottom of the 9th.

Shit, maybe it was Sam Crawford...

Never could understand why they weren't able to win more games with Kaline, Trammell, and Castellanos on the same offense, man...

You just have to bat them in the perfect order so that they are all the "right" age when they come to the plate

I hear they took so long to play that once Norm Cash hit a HR and when he got back to the dugout there was a Social Security check with his name on it waiting

Miss the battery of Schoolboy Rowe and Ivan Rodriguez.

Made me think of a funny line for an old timer actually. "He didn't have no kinda gas, I hear once he threw a pitch that Randy Hundley called for and by the time it got to the plate it was Todd Hundley that caught the darn thing!"

Odd that every AL Central team seems to cancel games due to rain, but NL Central teams don't nearly as much.

JFC our bats are a joke

Rockies SP Austin Gomber entering the game 0-4 with a 12.12 ERA with opposing hitters hitting .356 off of him. Through 3 innings he's baffled out hitters though. Steven Kwan is 2/2 everyone else 0/9

IDC that it's April and a 162 game season

You can't be losing series to the likes of the Tigers, Marlins & Rockies and expect to compete for a playoff spot.

1. they've only played one against the Rockies so far
2. even if they lose this series, there's 153 other games
3. do you ever stop exaggerating

Not exaggerating they look like shit and only seem to be stepping up when it’s time to avoid getting swept lately

good thing you play in the AL Central, arguably the shittiest division in baseball. Good chance 85-90 wins is enough to win the division.

Series loss to the Rockies confirmed

1 run in 2 games against one of the worst pitching teams in baseball. This lineup stinks
