Sanders is still a relative unknown, he ended up at Colorado and not somewhere bigger for a reason, he had success at a lower level with talent that was greater than most of his competition. We will see how he actually does in the big show.

But when the potentially MGM gives UNLV a blank check and they give that to Urban, you never know. Urban gets paid to live and work in Vegas? I think he'd love that. Dude can have fun in a place like Cincy, he probably thrives in Vegas.

Considering he was only at Utah for 2 fucking years, I'm not sure how much he "built them"

If anything Whittingham really built them, yes he capitalized off the momentum Urban started, but he built and sustained it.
 
The return on investment from the Vegas casinos/hotels would be great for them. They already probably get a bump with the NFL, but now imagine a big time college football program in their backyard. Promote UNLV/PAC football and get more visitors.

I will tell you this. Oregon plays at UNLV in a PAC game, I am going to Vegas to watch. Every. Single. Time.

You're right, Urban showed up and Utah just started winning. It didn't take building or recruiting, he did it with coaching alone. So a great coach can show up and start winning right away. Hmmm.

We always hear about how these big schools who need a coach are going to get Urban out of retirement, hasn't happened yet. Dumb to think he's going to jump back in to coach a bottom tier program.

It's Las Vegas, offering a 4-5 year contract, a ton of money, I've seen how Urban gets down at bars, he is taking this fun opportunity.

I am right lol. Urban only coached TWO SEASONS. He won with the old coaches players. Urban only had 1 true recruiting class at Utah and he was gone before most of those players ever saw the field. That's not "building" a program at all.
 
And that post/photo is accepted because it vibes with the Vegas culture. He does that at Columbus, Ohio and instantly people are disgusted and put him under fire.

Exactly. Goes to show it's more about coaching than previous established success and recruiting. UNLV gets the money to go and get a big time coach and he can turn the program around sooner rather than later.

Utah was in much better shape before Urban got there than UNLV is currently. You somehow can't understand that though.
