Fields sucks...a thread for his apologists.

As of now, run Fields to death, draft QB and WR in first round and ol the rest of the draft. The next year tell Fields he plays slot or he gets cut.

Just build an OL and acouple WR that can get open quickly.
That's a bit too reductionist. Obviously every team aims to do that, but it isn't going to change the awful coaching and defense.

No, some teams seem to think you draft a QB,first, then build a team. The Bears, Browns and Jets come to mind.

You're definitely right there. I thought you meant that's all Chicago needed to do right now.

The "difference making" QBs are hard to find Maybe 6 or 7 in the league. Build a team that needs a game manager, then, go looking for the lottery ticket and hope you get lucky.

If you're saying throw out Eberflus, Gatsy, and Fields and bring in a true NFL HC and OC with Caleb, then you're onto something.

A combination of all of this.

Fields could be the greatest Taysom Hill the NFL has ever seen. I'd want to keep him to make the offense much more dynamic, but I certainly wouldn't want to keep him as my QB1. If I was an OC, I'd be excited to conjure a playbook that incorporates Fields' unique skillset. That said, I would NOT want to throw another rookie QB into an offense that has an abysmal offensive line and no offensive playmakers under a coaching staff that doesn't know how to properly develop or deploy players.

If they Bears draft Caleb and expect him to start right away, they'll ruin him too.

Couldn't agree more. The problem is you can't really do that in the NFL anymore because it's become so much more of an "immediate results" sort of league. Peyton Manning never would've lasted with the Colts if the NFL was the same back then.

He won't like it, but that could end up being the best shot for him to have a long career.

I just turned it over to Good Morning Football and first thing you see is Jamie Erdahl with a Taylor Swift shirt on talking about Taylors up and coming international tour......I gotta vomit again.

Wtf??

And KC is on SNF next weekend......bah

I changed my mind,Pink is too cool to ass rape TS,make it a herd of Afghanis.
I turned on MNF and within 5 minutes of tuning in Buck and Aikman are gushing about Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game. Maybe make it a herd of Afghanis with AIDS.

Same as at work today, one guy who is not into sports but follows celebrities, was telling another coworker about the Bears getting beat up and Taylor Swift was there to witness it........

Ill take my teams bantering, but wtf cares about Taylor Swift......that just annoys the shit out of me.....

taylor swift haters gonna hate GIF

I turned the game off yesterday because I could no longer tolerate Greg Olsen gushing about Taylor Swift every third sentence. I popped open ESPN's website briefly this morning and their front page had a picture of her on it. Nevermind the Dolphins almost broke the NFL's scoring record... Nevermind a three-score 4th quarter comeback... ...The biggest news in the NFL this morning is - a pop singer watched a football game!

The people that care about that other football-related shit are already NFL fans though

So am I. The media is making such a big deal about her dating Kelse and IDK why. It is really annoying at this point.

Peyton went 13-3 in year 2.
