Fields sucks...a thread for his apologists.

As of now, run Fields to death, draft QB and WR in first round and ol the rest of the draft. The next year tell Fields he plays slot or he gets cut.

That's a bit too reductionist. Obviously every team aims to do that, but it isn't going to change the awful coaching and defense.

No, some teams seem to think you draft a QB,first, then build a team. The Bears, Browns and Jets come to mind.

The "difference making" QBs are hard to find Maybe 6 or 7 in the league. Build a team that needs a game manager, then, go looking for the lottery ticket and hope you get lucky.

A combination of all of this.

Fields could be the greatest Taysom Hill the NFL has ever seen. I'd want to keep him to make the offense much more dynamic, but I certainly wouldn't want to keep him as my QB1. If I was an OC, I'd be excited to conjure a playbook that incorporates Fields' unique skillset. That said, I would NOT want to throw another rookie QB into an offense that has an abysmal offensive line and no offensive playmakers under a coaching staff that doesn't know how to properly develop or deploy players.

If they Bears draft Caleb and expect him to start right away, they'll ruin him too.

Couldn't agree more. The problem is you can't really do that in the NFL anymore because it's become so much more of an "immediate results" sort of league. Peyton Manning never would've lasted with the Colts if the NFL was the same back then.

I turned on MNF and within 5 minutes of tuning in Buck and Aikman are gushing about Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game. Maybe make it a herd of Afghanis with AIDS.

Same as at work today,one guy who is not into sports but follows celebrities,was telling another coworker about the Bears getting beat up and Taylor Swift was there to witness it........

Ill take my teams bantering,but wtf cares about Taylor Swift......that just annoys the shit out of me.....

So am I. The media is making such a big deal about her dating Kelse and IDK why. It is really annoying at this point.
