Doing what? Pointing out that you'd just as soon see your wife be sexually assaulted by a much bigger man than get in a barfight with another man yourself?

But it wouldn't. Because if you went to one of those games you would dress up as a fan of one of those teams, sit there with your phone and pretend to be recording clips of the game. No one would bat an eye. It's not like some Michigan fan decked out in Michigan gear went to the Ohio State vs Maryland game in 2022, and then proceeded to record the entire ohio state sideline.Zooming in on a future opponents individual sending in every play sign would be pretty obvious. That's not some fan recording a game.
I am not sure what you are trying to say. As I pointed out:You can steal signals using game tape. This is 100% legal. And teams go through crazy measures to try and stop this, including barriers to make day of and taped signals harder to see.

The game within a game: Secrets of a college football signal stealer
Espionage on the sideline and in the coaches' booth is increasing in college football, but does all that effort make a difference on the field?t.co
It’s totally legal to use taped signals. It’s not legal to have someone sit in the stands and sit there to record the signals. But in a day and age where everyone has a 4K cell phone, and 100k football stadiums, what even is this rule? This isn’t 1994.
Again, we don't really know "what" they did. So I can't say why "they" did anything. We don't actually know if Michigan did anything.
Then how can you keep saying they did nothing wrong?

All of what you said is true. I'm saying it's not a big deal because it isn't. It's semantics.I am not sure what you are trying to say. As I pointed out:
Any attempt to record, either through audio or video means, any signals given by an opposing player, coach or other team personnel is prohibited,” the 2023 NCAA rulebook states.
Per the article you cited, most of what was discussed is people doing it on game day which is legal. You admit they can't visit a game a record but then appear to say, "ah, it's not big deal" when in fact from the article you posted it shows it would be a very big deal.
The only things that the article pointed out was:
1. They are starting to go to the TV tape, which is done by them, so it would be fair game. Once coach said he hated it when the camera pans in on their sideline. So, TV tape appears to be fair game.
2. It pointed out that coaches are starting to edit the game tape they are required to provide the other teams to make sure all the sideline stuff is edited out.
None of that comes close to (1) supporting what UM is alleged to have done, and (2) support that it's no big deal.
Oh I'm not derailing the thread. Just pointing out additional disgusting, pathetic things you've said on here. If you don't like it, you could try being a good person.
For someone who says they aren't defending this, you seem to be spending a lot of time defending this. Just saying.Sounds like the allegation was made, the NCAA had no evidence so they're trying to dig for it.
I also still don't care. Because what does that rule even mean? When John Harbaugh sends scouts to college games, and he tells Jim something, is that breaking this rule? The rule is stupid. In this era of football, not 1994, these teams all play every single game on TV, with multiple cameras recording every play, every coach reaction and every sign they throw up. These videos are shared with everyone, which is why teams go through great lengths to try and code/block others from viewing their signals. They play in 60-100,000k stadiums and everyone has 4k recorders in their pocket. The expectation that these things aren't happening should be out the window. IE this rule is dumb at it's core.
I'm suggesting I don't care, which is different than saying it didn't happen. Hope that clears it up.For someone who says they aren't defending this, you seem to be spending a lot of time defending this. Just saying.
LOL ... you realize that was a troll account on the UGA thing, and nothing, zero, nada, was ever mentioned anywhere else in CFB media. And obviously nothing happened. So you can keep my team out of yo' mouf while you defend your team's obvious cheating. Here are two different examples of me saying the NCAA can fuck off in regards to other teams "violations"
Jeremy Pruitt Update
https://www.outkick.com/former-jeramy-pruitt-assistants-at-tennessee-receive-penalties/ According to a report, former Tennessee assistants Brian Niedermeyer, Shelton Felton, Drew Hughes and recruiting assistant Michael Magness have received their penalties. The NCAA has decided that each one...hooplanation.com
Ohio State self reported 12 NCAA violations last year. Some pretty literally identical to the recruiting violations Michigan was accused of. And the only mention of them was in the context of defending what MIchigan did as a "nothingburger"

Report: Ohio State football self-reports sanctions to NCAA
Do you think the NCAA does anything regarding this? #GoBuckssports.yahoo.com
The NCAA should be abolished because this is a waste of time and nonsense; for the very logical reasons I detailed a few posts back.
I think it's pretty gross to try and suggest that sexual assault and child cancer are in the same realm of bad as sign stealing at a college football game. But that's just me and by bad morality.Oh I'm not derailing the thread. Just pointing out additional disgusting, pathetic things you've said on here. If you don't like it, you could try being a good person.
But see, I didn't care. I said fuck the NCAA anyway. I had your back because the NCAA sucks. And also, there’s 0 evidence so far that Michigan cheated. Do you have some you’d like to share?LOL ... you realize that was a troll account on the UGA thing, and nothing, zero, nada, was ever mentioned anywhere else in CFB media. And obviously nothing happened. So you can keep my team out of yo' mouf while you defend your team's obvious cheating.
Dude, when you type things like "This is trivial nonsense" when you posted an article that showed how getting signals is anything but trivial nonsense, you are trying to defend it. That's ok, defend it. But stop doing that and saying you aren't. We can all see it.I'm suggesting I don't care, which is different than saying it didn't happen. Hope that clears it up.
Michigan's AD could blow up a children's hospital and he'd spend time trying to downplay it or make it seem like it's perfectly OK.For someone who says they aren't defending this, you seem to be spending a lot of time defending this. Just saying.
Oh Shit!!!!So you can keep my team out of yo' mouf while you defend your team's obvious cheating.

I’m saying I don’t care if they did what’s being accused because I find it to be trivial nonsense.Dude, when you type things like "This is trivial nonsense" when you posted an article that showed how getting signals is anything but trivial nonsense, you are trying to defend it. Michigan is claiming Ohio State’s AD misfired a rocketMichigan's AD could blow up a children's hospital and he'd spend time trying to downplay it or make it seem like it's perfectly OK.
You wouldn't even need that. Sideline + scoreboard time would do everything you needed to see. That could be matched up with video later. It wouldn't be obvious at all, especially in a wider shot.Anyone familiar with the rule would certainly question why someone that is sitting in front of them was focusing on the sideline signal, then the formation, then the play that is run.
It would be quite obvious what they were up to.
It matters NOT what clothing they're wearing.
Here is what you wrote:But see, I didn't care. I said fuck the NCAA anyway. I had your back because the NCAA sucks. And also, there’s 0 evidence so far that Michigan cheated. Do you have some you’d like to share?
