More Michigan Cheating

IMO they are going to throw that staffer under the bus and try to claim ignorance that "nobody else knew what he was really doing!" Which of course is BS.

The staffer seen on video doing exactly what he’s supposed to be doing on Michigans sideline? So are you saying he was able to be two places at once?

I'm amused you'd think the NCAA would take it this far already, to warn the rest of the B1G what was going on, without any actual credible evidence.

Let me guess, everyone is just out to get Harbaugh?

Thats just more of a guess than an assumption. Because I don’t think any coach is dumb enough to send payrolled staff to opponents games.
Harbs has shown to break the rules he doesnt agree with. Why would you guess he wouldnt again?

So just to be clear. The guy they’re accusing of going to games to scout in person is seen here during games on Michigans sideline….and this helps the case? Shouldn’t football analysts be on sidelines?
The tweet simply identifies the guy who is at the center of it. Nowhere do they say the photos are showing him cheating. He cheated at a different time. Most likely this is where he is using his ill-gotten gains. He has also had his entire UM profile taken down, and his social media scrubbed. Nothing to see here.

A better question, given his dishonesty and cheating, is what is he doing that we don't even know about yet?

We are obviously going around in circles here with maze&blew.

There is facial recognition technology that can find a face in huge crowds of people. It's used to catch criminals.

Someone may have been suspicious of a "fan" zooming in on individuals who's job it is to send in play signals. Notified their teams athletic department, who notified the NCAA, who requested future stadiums to use said technology.

Imagine that. The same guy (or two guys) at every Michigan future opponents game doing the same thing.

I see Michigan fans on other board and twatter acting like Harbaugh and his Lawyer "dunked on the NCAA" with that statement denying knowledge of the allegations. Lol yea a guy who we already know is a liar denying allegations sure is a slam dunk on the authority!

Clearly, you've never heard of Jeremey Pruitt. He sent his wife to do his dirty work and did some of his own stuff.

If you ever type "I don't think any coach is dumb enough" again, you should hear alarm bells going off in your head.

They have to follow through. I’m not totally faulting them for that.

The other investigation is still open, the one he lied about.

Harbaugh is going to be in deep deep shit if they arent 100% cooperative on this one. We all know the cover up is always worse than the crime to the NCAA.

If you ever type "I don't think any coach is dumb enough" again, you should really rethink that.

I don't think Harbaugh is clever enough to come up with a scheme like this on his own, It was likely someone elses idea and he "approved" it. There's fucking NO WAY something like this could be going on without the head coach (or the assistants) knowing about it. But if shit does hit the fan they sure are going to try to claim it was "just a rogue staffer"

I guarantee that didn’t happen. Your theory is absurd.

But that’s not actually the rule. Because then by rule any tape recorded of the event, including broadcasts, would be illegal to use.

AGAIN......

Then why send someone to future opponents games to record their sideline signals.

That is what's alleged by the NCAA and is in black and white in the rulebook as being illegal. Even Vegas has taken it seriously.

i.e. It is ACTUALLY "the rule".

Sources said the NCAA enforcement staff's level of interest in Stalions is so significant it sought access to his computer as part of its investigation. Sources indicated that the process is underway, although it's uncertain what investigators will find.
..
What is crucial to the NCAA case isn't what Stalions did while breaking down television copies of games to learn and decode opponents' signals. It's whether or not illicit methods were used, which are alleged to include opponent scouting in different venues and was outlawed by the NCAA nearly three decades ago as a cost-cutting measure to bring more equity to the sport.

Sign stealing also violates NCAA rules if a team uses electronic equipment to decipher signals and relay the information to players and coaches. According to the 2023 NCAA football rule book, "any attempt to record, either through audio or video means, any signals given by an opposing player, coach or other team personnel is prohibited."

The allegations against Michigan appear to transcend the normal coach griping about opposing coaches stealing signals, as the depth of the allegations -- and the Big Ten's on-record affirmation of an investigation -- hint at something much more significant.

The allegations have rattled coaches and administrators around the Big Ten.

You don’t seem to understand the difference between someone affiliated with the university and someone who isn’t. The ncaa rules almost exclusively apply to those affiliated with the university.

They can use facial recognition to determine if he's been in the stands of future Michigan opponents.
