More Michigan Cheating

So
Michigan goes 1-15 vs Ohio State.

Then the cheating starts and they go 2-0

Nothing funny going on there or anything
Ohio State can put an end to that this year. What will the excuse be when UM wins again though?

Let's not forget CJ Stroud came out and said OSU knew about the sign stealing and OSU changed their signals.

OR...........That everyone has people on staff whose job it is to try and steal signs of the other team, which is why they are changed each game and why they have 2, 3, 4 guys relaying signs.

The biggest question I have is -- what will the excuse be for @Across The Field this year when Michigan wins?

1. How do you know this?

2. Then how did this outside firm get access to inside information that they then gladly turned over? The idea being that if they didn't get it cooperatively, what they did was likely illegal. The further idea being that if it was illegally gotten they wouldn't have turned it over.

Logically, they would have had to have gotten the information legally and the only way to do that was to be operating with the approval of UM.
The information is being presented and handed over by a law firm. It isn't part of an internal investigation. We don't know yet how the outside law firm got access to the information. There's only guesses out there on who they represent/hired them.

In other words, you don't know. No on does or it would be all over X and other media.

My explanation is still the most logical and the only one that makes sense.

1. It has already come out that the Matt Weiss investigation and the sign stealing are unrelated in anyway.

1a. Never thought I'd see the day I had to explain about not one, but two investigations involving UM football

2. From the sounds of it -- everyone knew about this Stalions guy. I'm sure someone hired a firm to investigate him and the genius was publicly paying people on Venmo. No clue who or how much those transactions were, but that only could have flagged the government to look into it? Once the investigation started it wasn't as if it was difficult to see what he was doing. Hell, you and I could have went to his Venmo page and seen the payments being made.

Nah man

An outside law firm hacked one of the largest universities computer network

Because they just felt like committing a few felonies for the hell of it.

Dawand Jones confirmed that they made some changes but obviously couldn't change everything on the fly.

The biggest question I have is, why did michigan commit these violations for years if it wasn't giving them a decided advantage? Why knowingly risk the NCAA investigation if it wasn't making a difference?

It isn't. Because what we have confirmed from local reporters and "insiders" is that the information did not come from an investigation internally, either related to this or related to the Matt Weis thing. So we know youre theory is wrong. We don't know how it was found outside of that.

Hacked? No, probably not. Given? Most likely. By who?

It's been confirmed that the two investigations aren't related in that the cheating scandal has nothing to do with Weiss and what he was doing (which honestly is sounding really fucked up). It's not been confirmed that the information regarding the hard drives didn't get discovered during the Weiss investigation.

essentially supported Michigan, including Nebraska's own coach.
That downright fucking delusional, he knows it happens in game a supports helmet radios. You need some sleep and a few downers if you thinking anything else.

Do you find it odd that teams knew about Michigan’s sign stealing since last year, but didn’t have the ability to change their signs?
I love that they tried to change their signs, lost and then blamed sign stealing.

Nah, just a crazy Nebraska fan and a UGA fan. The rest are almost exclusively Ohio State fans. Coaches from around CFB have been asked about it and essentially supported Michigan, including Nebraska's own coach.

LOL "supported".

Once again your empty head heard things that weren't said.

Rhule said what everyone else has been saying. That sign stealing happens all the time.

"Sign stealing happens every game,” Rhule said. “There’s nothing wrong with teams over there looking over trying to steal our signs. There’s nothing wrong with us trying to look at their signs.

He said nothing about in-person scouting of future opponents to video their sideline signals.

The information is coming from a law firm. This, we know. It was handed over by said law firm. The University has it's own internal legal resources.

Rhule is a stand up coach who supports the legal actions of Michigan.

I'm not arguing who gave it to the NCAA, I'm just saying (at least from what I've seen) it hasn't been confirmed that this information didn't turn up while investigating Weiss.

I wouldn't say he supported Michigan lol. He said yeah sign stealing happens and then implied that it's done when teams across the field are looking at you. He didn't agree with sending scouts to games to film and steal signs that way.

When asked directly about Michigan, he doesn't comment.
