The ban hammer drops today
I really don't think it does, but if it does, MnB on here and everyone on MGoBlew, the meltdowns will be glorious

The ban hammer drops today
lol finebaum is a loser
That’s when he was Paul, not Pete. He saw how many clicks he was losing by not piling on the frenzy.A week ago you were cheering him on as being a sage.
That him "sticking up" for Michigan was proof they'd done no wrong.
Wouldn't it be funny to see if the BiG waited until Monday to issue a 2 game suspension?I really don't think it does, but if it does, MnB on here and everyone on MGoBlew, the meltdowns will be glorious
The ban hammer was dropped by Okie State on OU.The ban hammer drops today
Or one week prior to The Game, which would include the Bowl/playoff season ...Wouldn't it be funny to see if the BiG waited until Monday to issue a 2 game suspension?
It was supposed to today, now, go figure, they are saying early next week. Care to wager Harbaugh is given a 1 game suspension (for the Maryland game) and that is it?!?!Me thinks the punishments to UM will be handed out later tonight or no later than Friday.

Best part is -- IF and I say if, as I have no clue what is real and what isn't in this case -- but IF, it is true that OSU and Rutgers gave those signs to Purdue -- we are going to be dealing with this all over again at those schools. I'm guessing the law firm UM hired will get to the bottom of it though.

If you gave the signals to Purdue, of course you are. You don't think that'd fall under "integrity of competition"? That'd be breaking the exact same sportsmanship policy Michigan is being accused of breaking. No we're not
They absolutely can investigate evidence for the case and that is exactly what the text messages and contact between OSU, Purdue and Rutgers would fall under, evidence that this was common place in the B1G. Why do you think Michigan hired the #1 investigative law firm in the US? If there is a way for them to get their hands on evidence -- they will have the resources to get it done. The Law firm only gets to defend their client. Not investigate other schools.

As I said -- IF. With this case -- I have no clue what to believe.
But the fact that nothing was announced today tells me there is something to it. And if they ding Michigan with it -- they will do the same to others.

As the resident lawyer doggy said -- the case will come down to the facts -- if OSU, Purdue and Rutgers hands are clean -- they have nothing to worry about. IF they did it though -- they are guilty of the exact same 'integrity of competition' as Michigan. Meaning OSU, Purdue and Rutgers will be facing punishment.
Last thing you want to do in CFB is open a can of worms like this, as I don't care how "clean" you think your program is -- it isn't clean. No one is. These people are getting paid millions to win at a kid's game -- they are going to bend rules, look the other way and do whatever they can to get ahead.
You're comparing apples and oranges. Teams have exchanged notes for decades, dude. For someone who talks down to everyone about "knowing ball", you really should know that.If you gave the signals to Purdue, of course you are. I saw a comparison that was pretty spot on. Even if OSU and Rutgers did what they did (which is something that happens in every conference every year in college football), it'd be like someone taking a math test and telling a friend about some of the questions on it before they take it later that day. What michigan did was sneaking into the teacher's desk when nobody was watching and taking pictures of the test so they'd know all the questions on it and memorizing the answers before taking it.It's amazing how you Michigan fans can't differentiate the two. Either you can but you'd rather distract, or you're just so blinded with homerism that you can't.
Have you seen anywhere that Ohio St and/or Rutgers sent someone "in-person" to electronically scout a Michigan game when Michigan was a "future (in-season) opponent?
Multiple times here you've stated that sign stealing isn't illegal and that it happens all of the time. You've also stated that the legal sharing of signals happens all of the time. You've also stated that it doesn't matter because teams change their signals every week.
Michigan had not played Purdue prior to the CCG.
Rutgers and Ohio St had. Therefore, if Rutgers and Ohio St did send Purdue Michigan sideline signals, they likely had someone on their own sidelines DURING their games with Michigan, and documenting their sideline signals.
Do you get the difference? Rutgers and Ohio St were involved in the games with Michigan when the Michigan sideline signals were obtained.
Not.The.Same
