More Michigan Cheating

LOL

Wait....

Didn't Michigan impose a 3 game suspension on Harbaugh to open the season before the NCAA completed it's investigation into his recruiting violations?

Didn't Michigan suspend Connor Stalions before any investigation was completed?

They don’t. We know exactly what they have. Which is absolutely nothing. They have ticket purchases in stallions name and people sitting in those seats. That’s it. They have no videos, nothing.
Don't they have him on the sidelines? Sounds like lack of oversight and LOIC if someone on your staff is doing those things and the coach and AD don't know it. Sounds like a LOIC if they have someone not on their staff repeatedly on their sidelines.

Harbaugh knew.

It’s pretty clear at this point that UO and UW never intended to stay in the PAC. Without their signatures, there was no way to get a deal.

He made those declarations because he knew that’s what it was gonna take to get those two to stay.
Oregon and Washington had no where to go, and it was only after Colorado announced they were leaving could they bluff the B1G into getting partial shares the Morning of a meeting to sign with a streaming service. Of course they weren’t staying long term but the PAC accepts that espn contract and Oregon and Wash are there for the short term and the PAC is surviving.

Kliv was terrible for the PAC

Yep this is just the start if there was really “nothing to see here” the B1G woulda done nothing at all right now

You didn't read the document, dunce. They have all sorts of video, and much more from the NCAA. The NCAA told the B1G with UM reps in the room the have enough evidence to conclusively determine that the scouting cheating scheme occurred. Read first, dodge later.

this entire story cracks me up.

personally, its hard to gaf. this is North America's slimiest sport + the transfer portal has created a free agency.

Of course he (Harbaugh) knew. Signs were given in front of 50,000+ people and televised on major networks. Teams knew it (because you would have to be an idiot not to know this was happening). These teams were unable to change their signs or unable to have someone else send in the signs to confuse the Wolverines. Now they are going to suspend Harbaugh because 13 teams want it with non conclusive evidence of cheating. Do I think there would be an injunctive order to reinstate Harbaugh? A reasonable person would say absolutely. I have not been following this case closely, so please correct me if I am off base.

@MAIZEandBLUE09 popped a woody when UM, wait for it, hired a law firm. Did it again when he found out Harbaugh had his own law firm. He thought the big, scary, mean law firm was going to go "boo" and win the case from the start.

Although this is one lawyer's interpretation - UGA fan so it's nothing official - but this seems to be the sentiment among lawyers and others on the Internet:

I just spent an hour reading (and highlighting) the Big 10’s letter. The letter is fantastically written and organized beautifully. I say that as an admiring attorney more than as a college football fan. It completely eviscerates everything Michigan and Tom Mars wrote two days ago - both factually and legally.

I very much want a copy of the “Master Spreadsheet” that the NCAA (abs Michigan) has. I can’t help but laugh at Michigan claiming on Wednesday, Nov 8 that it had not yet had a chance to review almost any of the evidence along with claiming that this was all rumor unsupported by facts. The Big 10 attorneys read that on Wednesday and laughed at the opening Michigan had given the Big 10. Sections III & IV of today’s letter are one GIANT slap down on UM’s attorneys and Tom Mars.

Forget the Manifesto. Bring me the Master Spreadsheet.

Honestly I know as much as you.

I highly doubt the bolded though. If the Big Ten is only suspending Harbaugh based on the outrage of other teams instead of hard evidence, then that would be highly wrong.

I don't think they do the suspension unless they had evidence. And they also used language that keeps the door open for more punishment, leading me to believe they have only explored parts of the rabbit hole.

A former judge:

Having been a judge, I just read the sportsmanship rule and then 10-page Michigan letter, and it was clear they were toast. The letter talked about everything but relevant issues and misconstrued the rule, which is a tell.

But, but, but ... the big, bad scary law firm ...

But, but, there isn't any evidence ...

It's impossible to say that nobody at all on the staff knew what Stallions was doing. Either at least a few of them knew, or LOIC should be in effect because that's just fucking stupid. Also, given that Harbaugh has had 3 of his employees on the team fired this year for three separate incidents, LOIC might not be far off. I mean, what the fuck is he doing??
