This is the year

I said this season and last.

Oregon is well ahead of Michigan.
Why in the world would you use 1 or 2 years to say someone recruits better? And 2022 and 2023 are almost identical for the two teams. So what are you talking about?

You got me thinking ... I don't really follow Oregon football closely and with you guys walking around with hard-ons and all the talk about Nix, I just assumed you guys played a great schedule and were really good. This fuck is this all about?

Oregon doesn't have a win against a ranked opponent. They haven't played a team with a team defense ranked better than around 80. No wonder Nix is lighting it up.

"Oregon has faced, on average, the 96th-best scoring defense in college football. 8 of their 11 opponents have a defense ranked 88th or worse. Over half of their opponents have a defense ranked in the 100s. They've faced two top-50 scoring defenses. 0 Top 25 scoring defenses."

What say you, Oregon fans?

This is not true. Utah has a top 20 defense. Next year we will try to get Ball State, UAB, and UT Martin to boost our schedule
That might make your schedule more difficult.

But, back to the post. Let's assume that Utah is a top 20 D, what about all the others? I noticed you didn't say anything about them. And no ranked teams ... how is it you think you should be the top ranked 1 loss team?

Oregon has played other teams with defenses ranked above 80. So your post is not just technically wrong, it's just wrong.

You could make an argument that Texas and Alabama should be ranked over Oregon at this point. I wouldn't really argue with you. I think Oregon would be favored against either of them though. And it looks like the CFP committee agrees.

This seasons class is 2024.

That’s what I’ve been saying. Them ranked ahead of Texas and Alabama is bullshit. Probably won’t matter because I think Texas loses again and I don’t see Bama beating UGA but it’s still absolute Bullshit

This is the year.

That comes before next year.

And comes after last year.

In the 247 Talent Composite, Oregon is 10th and Michigan is 14th. Oregon has 53 blue chip players and Michigan has 47. I'd say that's pretty negligible.

What makes you think you would beat them? You haven't beaten a ranked team, and you've played teams with bad defenses. The only decent team you played you lost against. I respect you realize that the committee could rank it differently, and of course, games will be played that will make a difference. But, I am not sure what makes you think you would be favored against them on a neutral field.

As to the "above 80," the Twitter post I posted acknowledges you have played a few games against better teams. I was going off the top of my head, but then found the Twitter post I had read. It's right there in the tweet:

Oregon has faced, on average, the 96th-best scoring defense in college football.

8 of their 11 opponents have a defense ranked 88th or worse. Over half of their opponents have a defense ranked in the 100s.

0 Top 25 scoring defenses.

That's not good if you are trying to tell the Committee that you are the best current 1 loss team.

I said -- Michigan and Oregon recruit very comparably. An Oregon fan is the one who said Oregon for sure recruits better than Michigan because of the last 1 or 2 years?!?!

Why would we look at the time before Lanning?

So you recruit better than Michigan because of a single recruiting class is what you are saying? Not sure if you know or not, but 2024's class can't even sign yet, so again -- that is NEXT YEAR'S CLASS, hence the 2024 in front of it.

It's this season's class.
