It's gonna be awesome no matter. Trust in Poles. Last year's trade out of the number one pick, was fucking masterful. Netted us this year's number one, DJ Moore and more, that are mentionable, but I'm too lazy to list.

I am not near as stressed as many about the QB position. The Bears are in a great spot. With the capital, and draft stock that they have, they honestly don't have to do shit with Fields. Be the best backup in the NFL. lol

Yes they/we are sitting in a sweet spot.......its a win/win situation for us.....Take Caleb at no.1(which Im not worried about his mental issues),a wr to compliment DJ at no.9,sign a top dlineman in the draft and watch this team rise.....this also includes pick/picks that we get for JF.

Or

Trade away the first,cause we will get a hefty haul for it,still get that wr plus+++ whatever team is giving up.......rest of our division will be taking notice.:yes:........

I'll say this - if they stay with Fields but (for the first time in his career) hire a competent playcaller/QB coach, they could finally actually see what they have in him. If they hire some dipshit yet again and bring in Caleb, they may as well just start looking at what QBs coming up in the 2026 class. No QB is going to overcome trash playcalling and coaching - check out Mahomes having his worst career year ever with Matt Nagy back in KC this year.

Not just that, but OL still isn't very good and his non-Moore wide receivers still suck

And he still threw for over 4,000 yards.

Fields' issuing are not just playcalling or coaching. He is still slow in processing, cannot read the middle of the field unless guys are running free on seam routes, has an atrocious windup, lackadaisical drop back, and absolutely shrinks in the clutch.

The o-line was more than good enough all season, save for the last week against GB, and their receivers are better than what Mahomes has in KC. It is tough to block for a guy that habitually holds the ball too long and refuses to play within the design and timing of the plays.


I wish it weren't the case, but Fields just isn't the guy. Enough excuses for this kid. I get it, he's a good kid, but right now, if you lined up his stats against damn near anyone, he'd prolly still lose out. Put him side-by-side with say....Marcus Mariota, and I'll guarantee you Mariota's stats are better, save for rushing stats.

Being a Lions Fans, I am hoping you take Caleb Williams. I don't think he is as good as he thinks he is. Toward the end of the season you guys have turned things around. Trade the #1 pick and get a couple of players who will mesh well with your team.

I personally dont watch cfb,I find it boring and annoying,but I was just trying ti rile up a few posters......
I have no idea who our qb is gonna be.....Im personally done with JF,who the best qb in the draft will be" I dont know"

And the thing about it is,no one else does either......
Im wondering where all the Bryce Young backers are at,cause I do remember over half thought he was the one to draft......and Im not saying Young wont make it,cause he plays for a very woeful team that doesnt have a no.1 to help him out.......

Id be happy the no.1 consensus in Caleb,or the no.2 in Maye or even Jayden Daniels.......
If they keep JF to take the haul again,all its gonna do is strengthen the Bears.....

That all being said,congrats to the Lions.....its gotta be a big lift off your shoulders..........
