I was relieved when Sark left, bummed when Petersen did but was high on Lake (lol).

Not feeling great with this one. But also, fuck DeBoer. he sucks anyway.

This is the price of having the kind of season we did. I still wouldn't have traded it for anything. 14-1, beat the ducks twice throwing them into a bowl with Liberty, shutting down Texas again and sticking it in Sark's face. Got to watch one of the best passers we have ever seen for 2 full years. It was a great ride.

With the fame comes the poaching.

They'll land a good coach and rebuild. They always do.

I'd like to tell you I like Washington ( I was cheering fro them in the CFP)

but...I'm still bitter over the early 90's....

Yep, he's got a different style of doing things than they are likely to accept down there and won't tolerate any downturns for a learning curve.

He will have Saban as an advisor, but that too might prove to be bad for him.

Can't blame a guy for reaching for something big, but this isn't what I would have done at this time lol. Be the guy who replaces the guy who replaces Saban and have a chance to rebuild back again.

lmao none of us know who was a serious candidate and who wasn't. The only thing we know is Alabama offered DeBoer the job and he cancelled his interview with softy and signed on the dotted line.

Nebraska was always a tough game and I had a lot of respect for their fans. Never saw another fanbase clap for something the other team did out of respect. Really wish the Nebraska of old would resurrect again. It's a program the sport is badly missing.

Minor point, but he wasn't going on a show with Softy. He was going on the morning program with Chuck and Buck. Buck, being Bucky Jacobsen, former Mariner who is actually a Duck fan in football. He wasn't exactly going on a husky honk segment.
 
This week in review... Michigan wins the NC, but all everyone can talk about is Bama's new head coach. LOL

He's an obnoxious blowhard for sure. He's just as obnoxious in person by the way. But he's a guy who loves his teams and that seems to play well on radio. I only tune into his show if there's a guest on of value or breaking news or to see his overreaction sometimes to something big. Other than that I don't understand anyone who can listen to his show daily.

I stopped listening to him when Dick Fain became his co-host. Softy is obnoxious, Fain is just a cringy douche.

If I remember right, you guys tore us a new one a couple times early 2010's or so.
 
For the record I think Lanning was a very serious candidate.

I can’t go so far as to say he was made an offer but I’d be shocked if talks weren’t conducted behind the scenes with Sexton.

Of course Sexton’s goal was to get as many of his guys a bump as he possible could and I imagine both Lanning and Norvell did. Sark I’m not sure because I’m not sure when his last extension and such took place.
