There’s only two big ten coaches that have beat Ryan day since he took over at Ohio state. And Michigan is replacing one of them with the other lmfao.

Except the replacement will now have to do everything 24/7 instead of just being the suit on the sideline during a few games. You can’t see how that may be challenging. But you are retarded so it’s expected

Let it go. Allow me to give you a dose of reality. Jim Harbaugh found a job in the NFL as the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. Sherrone Moore appears to be Michigan's next head coach. Most Michigan fans (including me) appear to be happy with this choice. ohio state appears to be having a pretty good off-season. Be happy with that. ohio state may even beat us next year.

The palpable relief from the Ohio State fans here that their “daddy” left to start a new family is fucking hilarious.
He was 2-5 against OSU and those 2 wins were during years the NCAA is currently investigating for cheating. OSU fans are pissed he's leaving because he should have to face the music, but also nobody in Columbus is afraid of him. He's proven to be a mediocre coach when not cheating.

I'm assuming Harbaugh, if he comes back, doesn't want to come back only for the NCAA to find him culpable because of the new rules that allow the NCAA to punish head coaches for the actions of their staff, and then for Michigan to fire him for cause (after turning down huge NFL contracts to come back). It was only 3 years ago that he was inches away from being fired.

This, obviously, wouldn't apply to someone else hired from outside the program.
Every coach, every executive, every leader: They all know right from wrong. Even those Enron guys. When someone uncovers a scandal in their company, I don't think they can say, "I didn't know that was going on." They're just saying they're too dumb to do their job! And if they really are too dumb, then why are they getting paid millions of dollars to do it? They know what's going on.

No one believes you. The only real question is how long until Ryan Day has to call Sherone Moore “Daddy” as well.

The objective truth is Jim Harbaugh broke Ohio State. Time to start hitting up the orphanages in Columbus. You’re the new Nebraska.
If you think that's the truth you must also think Biden is a competent and clear-headed leader too.

lol.

Ohio State admitted they knew in 2022 about the "sign stealing" Michigan was doing, and spent the prior year game planning something specific to the Michigan game. Your coaching staff just sucks. That's it. It's that simple. Even if you want to cope with 2021 based on the idea that a kid in the stands with a cell phone broke your program, your staff spent the next two years planning with that knowledge and lost. They just suck.

Harbaugh has been flirting with the NFL for years at Michigan. We've dealt with these rumors pretty much every season. The difference this year? He accomplished what he wanted to accomplish and won a national title. Had he stayed, there's no impending "music" to face. Ohio State fans are going to be wildly disappointed when their exaggerated claims about sign stealing they are using to cope, are shot down by the NCAA in the form of either minor/no violations or minor punishments.

So why did you have to do it for 2.5 years? If it wasn't vital to your success, why put your program in the position that it's now in with a massive NCAA investigation?

Sign stealing is legal. Every program sign steals. I maintain that Stallions chose to get data the way he was getting data to make his job as an analyst (who's job it was to steal signs) easier; thus impressing his bosses who think he's doing a good job at what he's been tasked with doing. The dude was an obvious lunatic that started as a fan who just hung around the facilities. And not only that, but he personally funded the whole damn thing.

They are already making Warde Mauel the fall guy in this. Doesn't matter who scUMs AD was coulda been Jesus Christ himself, Harbaugh was going to the NFL once a team gave him a real offer.

I don't love Warde, but I don't think Manuel had much influence on Harbaugh's decision to return to the NFL. Seemed pretty apparent for a while he had some level of interest in returning. And why not? He's won a national title and he's been in a Super Bowl... not many coaches can claim that, and even fewer have championships at both levels... why not take one more shot at joining that pantheon?

So the two years you have Stallions on the sidelines, michigan beats OSU by 15 and 22 points, yet this year when he's gone and you have your best team ever, you barely escape against us at home?

Ohio A&M fans are partying in the streets. They KNOW Harbaugh has grossly outcoached Ryan Day the last 3 years. Harbaugh leaving will make it much more difficult for UM to close the talent gap thru coaching. Only time will tell what Sherrone Moore will be as HC.

At least you aren't acting like Sherrone Moore is a slam dunk sure thing. Same can't be said for a lot of your fan base from reading the Michigan forums.

I Acknowledge he very well could succeed. But being the actual head coach and running a organization pretty much 24/7 is a lot more difficult than just filling in a couple of Saturday's when you have your boss there all week to walk you through everything and set the marching orders.

The two years prior -- Michigan beat OAM with our OL. Our OL this year was way weaker than 2021 and 2022. Our defense was better in 2023, so was OAM's defense.

The players absolutely love him. How they translates to leading the entire team?!? Only time will tell. He has shown he excels at play calling. HC is a completely different beast.

Can't crown someone as a great coach when they have never been a HC of a major program. He could be amazing. He could also fall flat on his face. Personally -- I'd rather see Minter be the HC, as I'd rather his defensive mind at the helm, as THAT is what drove UM the last 3 years -- McDonald and Minter.

I've got no idea where Ohio A&M is, but there are no Ohio State fans who are relieved Harbaugh left. Also, he only "beat" OSU twice, and it was in years he was proven to be cheating, so credit to Moore for actually winning one against us without cheating.

It's probably the best hire Michigan coulda made at this moment in time. It at least keeps you stable roster wise for the next year or two.

If they went with some random under the radar Coordinator or G5 coach there woulda been a mass exodus. And those types have about the same shot at success as Moore anyways.

As a coach, I think Moore is more expendable than Minter.

700 yards rushing. 700!!! Instead of 'beat', you should put bullied by Michigan the last 3 years. Bullied is a much better to use, as that is what Michigan did to OAM.
