So let me get this straight. A guy finishes 3rd in the league with one second teamer and one third teamer has to share coach of the year with a guy that had 2 first teamers, the sixth man of the year, and one guy on the all defensive team? (Oh, also 0 honorable mention to 3.) Seems reasonable to me. Not. Complete bullshit.

You'd have to believe the coaches individual votes ended in a tie, then the media's individual votes also ended in a tie.

According to this they were entirely separate votes.
