No arc of narrative. Just a series of shots where a character says something is going to happen because of date and then the movie shows it happen (or even worse just tells you it happened.)
Like the shitty Star Wars movies.

Haven't seenDune 2yet, but this is something I hate. The more they need someone to narrate a quick flashback the more I hate a movie. I think it was aqua man 2 I recently saw where I was tired of all the little narrations they kept having to explain what was going on.
