that dumpsterfire is now a 2025 top 5 class and we don't have a stiff suit as a coach anymore.

We've seen the top 5 class before, and then most of it left. You did massively upgrade at coach though.

Lot of time for Mathis to get himself right, so I'm not worried. Also I think London Merritt could end up being a power rush end. End of the day, this DL class is outstanding, and even when JTT and Sawyer leave we still have Curry, Omari Abor, Kenyatta Jackson, and Josh Mickens.

Eddrick Houston too. I'm not really worried either, just seems like we do get burnt at the end like this a lot of times.

Thing with Hill is, he wants to be more of a JACK. Nobody in nation has developed that type of rusher like Bama, so I get it. Also I didn't know til yesterday that his mom and stepdad are big Bama folks, which I'm sure made an impact. End of the day, this doesn't make a difference with this class.

He's a rotational piece that saw the field a few times last year. We're not relying on him for much, depth is always good.

man what a gut punch.. but he's a good guy.. if the rumors about the amount he is getting with Phil are true.. I can't get mad... plus I really do feel he wants to leave home and do something different far away.

still worth it lol.. pretty sure we'll still get a better WR than the equivalent of a certain baseball position coach

Johntay Cook was the #1 WR in '23 in the state of TX (also a 5 star)

He also got a 5 star WR out of Mizzu last class..

Wonder what happened to the #1 aggy WR commit.. oh yeah he transferred out like the rest of his class.. maybe you should have hired a positional coach to have kept everyone..
