More Michigan Cheating

At what point do you blame yourselves though? Like when Obama was president and he allowed Russia to (allegedly) interfere w the election? Or when we had covid lock downs under Trump?

If MI cheated (allegedly) while Ryan Day was on the clock that’s kind of on him.

I mean — you guys got outsmarted by Central MI??

Cmon now.
If all that is true, that doesn't in any way lessen your cheating culpability. Amazing the ways UM fans try to minimize one of the biggest cheating scandals in decades.

A minor recruiting violation; one that pretty much never results in any kind of NCAA punishment. The actual issue here is that Harbaugh told the NCAA to fuck off about it.
LOL, everything is "minor" to you.

That man is ABOVE REPROACH, SIR! You watch your mouth!

I don't know why Maize is acting like this. I'd gladly trade a natty for Freeman to be suspended for something like this. But at least I would acknowledge he broke the rules and is a liar. Lmao.

Yeah. We know. HE told the NCAA to fuck off about buying a kid a cheeseburger. That doesn't make the argument any less ridiculous. The NCAA should be told off by every single school in the league under those circumstances; especially because a year later school alumni could buy kids Ferraris.
You realize it was far more than buying a kid a cheeseburger, or is reading comprehension something that UM students don't excel at. It was a dead period, and he met with recruits and their families and then lied about it repeatedly. Read the fucking report. It's only 36 or so pages.

In person recruiting during a dead period is always a no no. Every coach knows that. Then paying for food and worst of all lying about it? Yeah, that's not gonna work out well for UM.
He didn't lie. He told the NCAA to fuck off. Very different things. And I love that he did that. A coach stopping by on an unofficial visit to buy a kid a cheeseburger is perfectly acceptable, even during a dead period. That will remain my opinion.

I never said itw asn't a rule violation. I said I don't care and hope we continue to break pointless rules like that while telling the NCAA to fuck off.

Right. It was a dead period. Ohio State just did the exact same thing last year. But they reported it. The entire difference between the two situations is MIchigan told the NCAA to fuck off and Ohio State bent the knee.

I'm done with the NCAA. I hope we are as uncooperative as possible with that corrupt organization moving forward until they die.

That's fine, just don't act all holier than thou. If you're going to start knowingly breaking NCAA rules, expect consequences. Also, just FYI, it is still illegal for schools to buy recruits/players something. Collectives, sure. Schools, no. If you're coaches/program do this they are just dumbasses.

LOL ... yeah, the NCAA was the problem, not that your coach got caught violating a rule everyone else followed, You are truly an unserious person. It's not like you were being noble and "sticking it to the man" ... you were simply cheating, got caught, and decided to lie about it until your coaches could move on. The whole holier than thou "Michigan Man" bullshit where you didn't think you shit didn't stink has been trashed. Fucking laughing stock of college sports.

He repeatedly lied about it. Even when they had expense receipts proving he was there he still lied. That's the point.

We get it, you're an NCAA boot licker.

We will continue the Michigan Man tradition and it will be even better because it will piss people like you off even more.

He didn't cooperate with their investigation. That isn't lying. That's disobedience.

JFC, you've droned on and on about how things aren't rule violations. In this thread alone you've said it numerous times, including referring to it as buying a cheeseburger when you know it was way more than that. Now that it's become obvious it's more you are now shifting to the we are "sticking it to the man" defense.

Blaming the NCAA for punishing their school for violating rules is truly the most perfect embodiment of michigan man that there is. It's a Micky Mouse program that deserves no respect for a variety of reasons obviously.

Piss me off? It makes me laugh at you because you and your ilk aren't serious people.
Sometimes upholding the standards of a Michigan Man means disobeying immoral rules and regulations.

Civil disobedience. Are you saying MLK was immoral for his actions against an unjust system?

He didn't cooperate with their investigation. That isn't lying. That's disobedience.
Dude ... read the findings. He insisted he didn't meet with recruits and families ... the recruits and their families said they did meet, the recruiting staff stated he met with them, and he actually submitted an expense report to get reimbursed for the cost of the cheeseburger. He lied, and he cheated.

You chose to cheat as your only way to succeed, and got pissed you were caught and facing punishment. That isn't civil disobedience, it's just pathetic and sad.
