EA Sports College Football 25

Did a dynasty season as tOSU. Played Michigan the last game of the season, in the B1G championship, and in the Natty.

Does it take away from the regular season rivalry? Maybe a little, but it was awesome kicking Michigans ass 3 times in one year. Conference realignment and 12 team playoff are great for the sport!

I haven't seen the daylight in 3 days. Oregon has won 4 national championships and a statue of me has been built in Eugene. I did write an apology letter to Dan Lanning that I bumped him from the HC job, but clearly it has been the right choice for the Ducks. Starting today I look to make it a 5-peat.
Well then you know that is fake. If a Duck HC ever got to a NC he’d leave for a better job in the offseason

Neither Duck coach that went to the NC left in the offseason.

For those that don’t know there was a big patch today. You’ll have to restart your franchise to experience them tho.

Just turned it on after a few days and waiting for the update to finish. Was thinking I wanted to start a new dynasty anyway.

What a dumb thing. So if I am already 10 years into a dynasty, I have to restart to get all the updates?

Look, I do love that this game is back and I know there is going to be rough patches in it's first year back after 11 years, but they have some glaring issues that should've been fixed long before the release, given they had 2 years to work on these things. Even after this patch there are still a lot of things to be fixed.

I'll take the bumpy road return because we have the game back finally, but just a little disappointed in how rough it is.

Modern day video games are weird. Mind-blowing graphics and storylines but full of glitches and patches are being updated for years.

I’m 3 years into playing the same character on Skyrim and just recently everything exploded storyline wise for me because of that anniversary patch. Quests I could never finish because of bugs all of a sudden work three years later.

I remember NCAA CFB 14 when you bought the game in physical form, and for about a month after the release it seemed each week had a uniform update that cost about $1.99 each. That was it. Now you don't get games in physical form and games have updates and patches every few days.

im ok with it right now im about 5 or so years in but i understand the game more now. but if i have to restart every patch thats an issue

I seem to have gotten a message that my current session had been updated to include the patch but I just started over and am year one.

I did notice that everything got way harder though. Jax State blew me out 45-0. I am Kennesaw State and I know I suck but damn, I was 3-1 headed into that game and was feeling pretty confident.

i used them on my first season pistol formation mix of flanker dig and power option. flanker dig has a good out up, rb out the back or TE across options.

That's retarded if that's actually how it worked. I don't think that's the case though. I got a message saying my offline file was updated. I think only online dynasties have to be restarted.

That said, the update didn't stop the score from being wrong all game, half my guys from having the wrong color helmets, or my offensive lineman from giving me the old "look out" block 3 times in the first game I played right after the update.

I still at least 2-3 times a game get my defenders actively running away from the ball carrier. Which is fucking awesome.

It seems most of the updates were focused on making sure shoes and logos were correct instead of fixing bugs that matter.

Most likely it had nothing to do with the patch and was just one of "those games" where the computer randonly determines beforehand that you're going to get fucked no matter what. I've had a 78 overall RB put up 350 rushing yards against me in one of "those games" already. Same thing with a 80 overall QB going 23/25 for 400 and 4 TDs while my defenders constantly let WRs run by them and balls basically go through their hands. It's retarded and also standard for these NCAA games.

The opposite also happens where the CPU will decide that you can't lose and the opposing QB throws 3 pick 6's.

All of these seem better but not totally fixed.

There is one glitch I have an issue with that doesn't seem to be fixed and it is irritating...

On defense, in the middle of a drive the offensive team (CPU) will let you pick a defensive play but then after you pick the play the offensive team will go into a no huddle so your play is reversed to whatever play you had picked before. It is annoying and it is pretty frequent when you play teams that play no-huddle all game.

I hope they fixed the false starts glitch when doing multiple hot routes. I haven't confirmed this one yet.

It sucks these changes will only fix if you start a new dynasty. My buddy and I are in year three of a dynasty and it is annoying bc nothing is fixed.

I play a lot of teams who run that no huddle O, it can be tricky to defend for sure.
