Coaching has a lot to do with it too. Dabo beat SEC teams a couple times for natty with less talent. See Michigan last year too.

Yes, and no. Dabo won it with generational QBs. Michigan got lucky there were only 4 teams, and they were actually similar to the first Clemson NC team in that they were able to get a ton of returning seniors.
I said the same thing about Richt, who was a really good coach. Dispointed me often. At the end of the day, it's really hard to outcoach talent. Here's a presser with Smart:

We've been top 2 in talent for the past 5 years. We win because of overall talent.
As for Beck, he had a way better QBR than Ewers did. So you might want to take a pass on criticizing Beck.

I don't know where you are going with this ... I said that one way to win if you don't have top talent is to have generational QBs. That's true. Cam Newton and Auburn, Watson and Sunshine at Clemson (Clemson has a lot of talent, but they have never recruited top 3 year in and year out).
How you turned that into what you are saying I don't get. We won with top 3 talent, and QB that performed above average.
What exactly is the point you think you are making?

Smart, he wouldn't have a spot on A&M's baseball team. Once Schloss left and everyone returned PLUS some...just no room for someone giving half effort. Y'all though, you have lots of room because your team is pretty shitty. Plus we took your top 2024 and your top 2025 baseball commit.
God bless Schloss indeed! He ruined his ability to recruit with his little hissy fit towards that reporter and showed that he is a full of shit liar with his "I don't want to go anywhere else" followed by 8 seconds later announcing he was leaving. No need to recruit against him anymore, he fucked himself over.
So yeah, LOL is right.

So he really didn't ruin his ability to recruit.. Crazy to think a kid who throws 90 plus on the mound and who hit over .400 and is rated as the top OF wouldn't have made aggys team..

I know baseball recruiting like you know football recruiting, trust me we didn't lose any commits that we needed. Adrian is from here in town and I can tell you there is zero chance he was ever going to start for us, not with the kids we have lined up. Which pitcher do you think is a no brainer for us? Cozart? Not a chance, not after we flipped Ramirez from y'all. I'll take a high 90's lefty over a low 90's righty any day.lol y'all going in all this year that's for sure.. And it 100% hurt his ability to recruit. He pissed off a lot of HS coaches with his lie and that goes a long way in baseball recruiting. Schloss literally can only get the kids that A&M doesn't want, or that A&M only wants for depth. Even my Tech buddies that hate A&M are pissed at how Schloss handled it and lied to the entire world.

And I fully expect Schloss to ask for mercy rules when he comes to Blue Bell next season and I really hope Earley tells him to get fucked. We will stop beating your brains in when you get the last out, not a second before.

I get you are upset, but Schloss is going to do very well here at Texas.. I think y'all took a gamble with the hire and you got your guys to pony up whatever NIL it took to bring back the main pieces from last season's run. We will find out how it plays out in the spring

I'm not worried about that at all. Our team and the kids we have lined up are going to do very well for us. What I also know is that you will forget baseball even exists, like you did this year, when we continue to dominate you.
I'm not upset at Schloss anymore, I'm just stating facts. He showed what kind of a person he is and did so in a very public manner. NIL didn't bring back every single starter, Earley and the school/fans did that. Don't sit there and think your school wasn't dangling bigger bucks to get Jace and Gavin, because I know for a 100% fact they were. The players just didn't want to follow Schloss after the stunt he pulled here with them.
