First Morning Thread

Agreed obviously

Never heard of the unwritten rule of taking a 3-0 pitch up seven. That's a new one. How about not trying to piss around with the strike zone when Manny Machado is on deck. None of it made sense. So he should take a strike just because? GTFO with that shit

We were blessed to have Tatis in Ft Wayne for our beloved Tincaps. We used to bless pnk with some decent Twins players when we had the Wizards.

I have bought some very nice grills and smokers for very cheap. Still in the box....never opened.

Would you like to know the secret? Don't want to sound like spam or anything but...

Meh, not going to find a Traeger on there in the shape I want it... but maybe a shitty old mower.

Whitey Herzog got criticized for stealing with a big lead years ago.

The opposing manager yelled across the field at him for stealing with such a big lead and then complained about it to the newspapers after the game saying, "Whitey is showing us up and that's baloney." So Herzog retorted, "Stealing bases is how we score runs. We'll agree to stop stealing if he agrees not to hit any more home runs."
Always blame whitey

for those of you that care

I did buy some bologna to make fried bologna sammies. Bought enough for two, grilled up with melted cheese on top with toasted buns. They were better than I remember, boars head make some decent bologna.

Between that and bugles and planters cheez balls I'm reliving my childhood lunches. I remember liking Bugles more tbh and planters must have removed some carcinogen from their cheez balls making them not as good. I'll risk the cancer

I bought a homeless guy near Kroger a package of bologna.

obviously not boars head, you have to get that at the deli counter

easier to hide my shame when it comes from the deli too, outside of having to actually order Bologna

Who would buy Boars Head Bologna?

Do they even make Bologna?

He asked if I would get him some bologna and a Gatorade. Didn't mention bread

when I worked on campus we had a panhandlers, many with sob story of how they hadn't eaten in 2-3 days (but oddly had money for smokes). I on more than one occasion would buy sandwich or some fruit from Walgreens/CVS. I'm sure about half time they just threw whatever I bought away, but I never spent more than a 2-3 bucks

I guess I could go with a Pit Boss or whatever they sell at Lowes, but they're all pretty close to the same price.

I think Pit Boss has a longer warranty if you're concerned about that. I think you'll be happy with whatever one you get

Yeah, it was $3, and I know it was put towards "actual" food.

A work associate invited SA and I to his lake house tomorrow. Could be fun... He drinks a lot, though, so I'll have to resist that urge to join in, unless we end up crashing in one of the guest rooms
