Went about as expected with a walk on qb and entirely new coaching staff. I’ve realized it’s much easier to cope with losses as the national
Champions. had this really cool like 10 year old Texas fan sitting behind us today, was fun to see him get a W. I think as Michigan fans we see a lot of ourselves in Texas fans.

This still doesn't explain at all why it took 8 months for him to do this. I've never once heard of a major college coach going that long after accepting a position.
The only thing that makes sense is that he got it in the contract that they can't come back on him for his involvement in the Stallions mess. Now that they have the NOA, they were finally able to work through that language.
